Surge Suppression
Tributaries power products are designed with the patented X3
MOV. It is capable of suppressing more energy and dissipates
heat faster than other design. More importantly, the patented
high-temperature ceramic casing is capable of isolating and
containing the excessive heat buildup that could occur during an
abnormal surge condition. In the event of a catastrophic surge,
Tributaries power is additionally protected by dual temperature
fuses that open the circuit and disconnect electronics from the
AC line. This will result in the power manager, strip or in-wall
device self-sacrificing to protect your equipment. Tributaries
power products provide you with the ultimate safety protection
for your valuable electronics.
Under/Over Voltage Protection
Electrical components can also be damaged by under voltage
(brownout) conditions. Sensitive parts can be damaged and
power supplies can overheat. The microprocessor controlled
PWRI-PRO is designed to protect against both over voltage and
under voltage conditions. If the incoming voltage exceeds 135
volts, the unit will shut down outlets automatically resetting
when the voltage drops back to 130 volts. If the incoming voltage
drops below 90 volts, they will shut down, automatically resetting
when the voltage returns to 95 volts.
Line Filtering & Isolation Circuits
Tributaries power products feature active filters to keep
electronic noise from contaminating your A/V system’s delicate
audio and video signals. Appliances and other electrical
equipment in today’s homes contain motors and micro-
processors that generate electronic noise. As these appliances

X3MOV and packs 540 joules of surge suppression into its small size. The X3
MOV is the most advanced MOV available in today’s surge technology. It is

THIS WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO PRODUCTS PURCHASED AND USED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
PRODUCTS PURCHASED OR USED OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES ARE SUBJECT TO SUCH WARRANTOES, IF ANY,
AS ARE PROVIDED BY THE TRIBUTARIES DISTRIBUTOR IN THE RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES.
Gordon J. Gow Technologies, Inc., d.b.a. Tributaries ( s that this Product shall be free from “the company”) warrant
defects in workmanship or materials for a term of ve (5) years from the date when it was purchased from an
Authorized Gow Dealer.
In the event of any defect covered by this warranty, the company shall without charge provide all parts, materials,
and labor necessary to restore the Product to its original specicaons, and shall return the Product to its owner at
the company’s expense. In the alternave, the company may at its sole opon either replace the Product without
charge, or s replacement is not commercially praccable or repair or replacement cannot be accomplished if it
within a reasonable me, the company may refund the purchase price of the Product, subject, where appropriate,
to reasonable depreciaon for use in accordance with applicable laws, in full sasfacon of its warranty
obligaons. Tributaries will undertake to complete the repair and return of the Product as soon as circumstances
permits, unless prevented by causes beyond its reasonable control.
LIMITATIONS ON TRIBUTARIES’S OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE WARRANTY
THE COMPAN SOLE OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT, OR Y’S
AT ITS OPTION REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE, AS PROVIDED FOR HEREINABOVE. TRIBUTARIES DOES NOT
WARRANT AGAINST, NOR SHALL IT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION
CHARGES; SHIPPING EXPENSES TO TRIBUTARIES OR ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE FACILITY; LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO
INFORMATION, PROGRAMMING, DATA, OR MEDIA OF ANY KIND, PROPERTY DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, LOSS OF USE;
OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND.
Note: Some states do not allow exclusion or limitaon of consequenal damages, so the foregoing exclusion
may not apply.
Exclusions:
Parts and Occurrences That Are Not Covered by the Warranty
This Warranty does not cover failures arising from (A) catastrophe (including lightning strike), misuse, neglect or
failure to properly connect and operate the Product in accordance with the accompanying instrucons; (B) failures
arising from improper installaons of the Product or incompability of other components in the system of which
the Product is a part; (C) failures of any kind in Products (I) which have been purchased from other than an
Authorized Gow Dealer, or (II) which evidence any tampering, alteraon, or aempted servicing by anyone other
than the company, or (III) which are not delivered or shipped to the company within the ve (5) year Warranty
term; and the company shall have no liability or obligaon of any kind with respect to any of the foregoing types of
failures.
What the Owner Must Do to Obtain Service under This Warranty
To obtain service under this warranty, the owner must, within thirty (30) days following the occurrence giving rise
to the claim and within the ve (5) year term of this warranty, telephone the company at the number shown
below, obtain a return authorizaon number, and then, at the owner’s expense (1) arrange for any necessary de -
