1.1 Features
• Adds an additional monitor, LCD or projector through a single USB port
• Adds 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) support via a USB 3.0 port, even if a
computer’s graphics card does not support it
• USB 3.0 is 10 times faster than USB 2.0, with transfer rates up to 5 Gbps
• Backward compatible with USB 2.0
• Simultaneously connect up to 6 display adapters
• Automatically resumes from hibernation and suspend modes
• Supports 4K x 2K Ultra High Definition (UHD) video resolutions up to
3840 x 2160 @ 30Hz
• Set additional monitors to extend the primary display, duplicate the primary
display, or set an additional monitor as the primary display

• Windows® Vista (32- and 64-bit)*, 7 (32- and 64-bit), 8 (32- and 64-bit) and
10 (32- and 64-bit)
*4K displays not supported on Windows Vista
• Compatible with Mac OS
® X 10.8.5 and later (32- and 64-bit)
Notes:
• Mac OS X 10.8.5 and earlier does not support audio over USB 3.0
• Mac OS X 10.7.X and earlier does not support USB 3.0
• USB 2.0 or 3.0 port; USB 3.0 port required for USB 3.0 speeds and 4K video
resolution
• DisplayPort or HDMI monitor
Minimum computer requirements:
• Processor: 1.2 GHz or faster with support for SSE2
• RAM: 2 GB for 1 DisplayLink display; 4 GB or more is recommended for 2 or
more DisplayLink displays
• Graphics card (for PCs running Windows OS): Microsoft DirectX 10 or later
graphics device with WDDM driver
• USB: At least one USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 port
• 30 MB of free disk space
• Computer screen for use with the DisplayLink device (if one is not integrated)
• Network access for software downloads or access to a CD-ROM drive
Minimum computer requirements when supporting 4K playback:
• Processor: Intel Core i5 2 GHz or faster
• RAM: 4 GB for one 4K display; 8 GB or more is recommended for two 4K displays
• Graphics card: Intel HD 4000 or later
