CONNECTING THE DEVICE WITH USB

NOTE: USB cord can connect only to the base.

1. First connect the appropriate interface cable to the

scanner, then to the computer. (See Figure 1)

2. Ensure the cable is secured in the wireways

in the bottom of the base and that the base sits flat

on a horizontal surface. The scanner will beep.

3. Verify the scanner or base operation by scanning a

barcode from the sample symbols in the back of the

manual included with product.

NOTE: The unit defaults to a USB PC keyboard.
