Placement Considerations
• ThecameraincludedwithyourmonitorisNOTweatherproof;itisanindoor
camera.
• Theclearestline-of-sightbetweenthecameraandmonitorisbest.Walls,
especiallybrickandconcrete,canaffectreceptionquality.
• Avoidhavingadirectlightsourceinviewofthecamera(ceilingorfloorlamps).
• Carefullyplanwhereandhowthecamerawillbepositioned,andwhereyouwill
routethecablethatconnectsthecameratothepoweradaptor.
• Whenyouarepositioningthecamera,bringthemonitoralong;it’smucheasier
togetthecameraintotherightpositionwhenyouhavethedisplayhandy.Check
theimageonthemonitorbeforeyouinstallthecamera.
• Outofrangedisplayswhenthecameraisoutofrange,turnedoff,or
unsuccessfullypairedtothemonitor.
