01 How to connect

Plug in one end of the TurnCable (3.5

mm or 6.3 mm plug) into your playback

device and the other end into a matching

connector on your Zinken headphones.

02 TurnCable

Zinken and the TurnCable offer both 3.5

mm and 6.3 mm connectors. This lets you

connect to a DJ mixer with the 6.3 mm plug

or a playback device with the 3.5 mm plug,

without the need of any adapters.

03 Remote control and microphone

The remote control and microphone are

located on the TurnCable and can be

used connected to a compatible playback

device via the 3.5 mm plug.

Press once to play/pause or

accept/end a call.

Double press to skip forward or

reject a call.

Triple press to skip backwards.

04 Cleaning

Unplug the TurnCable and gently pull on

the ear cushions to remove them.

Use a lint-free cloth, slightly damp with

soap and water, 70% isopropyl alcohol,

or 75% ethyl alcohol to gently clean the

ear cushions, the headband, the outside

of the earcups and the TurnCable. Avoid

getting moisture in any openings, earcups,

the remote control/microphone on the

TurnCable. Carefully clean those areas with

a dry and soft brush, or a cotton swab.

— Don’t use any sharp objects.

— Don’t use compressed air.

— Don’t use products containing bleach

or hydrogen peroxide.

— Don’t submerge the earcups in any

cleaning agents.

Make sure that all parts are completely dry

before putting back the ear cushions and

plugging any cables.

To put back the ear cushions, align the

three hooks on the back of the ear cushion

with the three holes in the earcup. Gently

press on the cushion until it snaps in place.

05 Troubleshooting

The remote control is not

working

Make sure that the 3.5 mm plug is

connected to a playback device that

supports remote control.

The microphone is not working

as expected

The TurnCable supports the CTIA (Cellular

Telecommunications Industry Association)

standard and using it with a OMTP (Open

Mobile Terminal Platform) device may

cause audio issues. There are CTIA to

OMTP adapters available at many retail

stores, that will solve this issue.
