A RACE TO DECLUTTER YOUR PLANET!
O B J E C T O F T H E G A M E
Be the rst player each round to get rid of all the Trash on your planet to win a
Trash Trophy. Collect three Trash Trophies to win the game!
S E T U P
• Place the Sun in the center of the play area. Each Player will choose a
planet as their play mat.
• Distribute three dice (one of each type) to each player.
• Each player will need a random assortment of Trash pieces based
on the player count below and put them on their player mat. (In a 3 and
4 player game, set the extra pieces aside.)
G A M E P L AY
Each player is trying to remove the Trash from their planet at the same time,
there is no turn taking. As each player is trying to empty their planet, the
other players are trying to ll it up.
Choose a player to start the game by saying “1,2,3 Ditch it!”
Simultaneously, all players will roll their 3 dice. Each die will give a clue as
to the color and type of Trash to be moved, which direction it goes and the
number of pieces to declutter from a player’s planet.
Color/shape – ( )
Trash moved must be the specied color.
Direction – either ( ) Right, ( ) into the Sun, or () Le, ( ) player’s
choice.
Quantity – a maximum of , , or pieces may be moved.
It does not have to be the exact number.
Aer completing the dice prompts from a rst roll, each player collects their
dice and immediately rolls again. They do not have to wait until everyone else
has resolved their dice. Continue rolling and decluttering until someone has
rid their planet of all its Trash and shouts “Clean!” to announce they’ve won
the round before collecting a Trash Trophy.
Note: All three dice must be rolled every time, no dice can be set aside for
future moves.
Reset the game area by re-distributing the Trash pieces so everyone gets an
equal number. The player who won the Trash Trophy calls out “1,2,3 Ditch it!”
to start the next round.
H O W T O W I N
The rst to receive three Trash Trophies wins the game.
O P T I O N S F O R P L AY I N G W I T H K I D S
1. Start kids with two less pieces of Trash on their player mat. Each time they lose,
allow them to start with one less piece than the previous game.
2. Allow kids to play using only the quantity and direction dice; they may
remove any color Trash from their player mat.
