Never leave the magnifying lens unattended where direct sunlight may pass through it: this
creates a fire hazard.
Do not use the luminaire with a cracked or broken protective shield. Disconnect immediately from
the mains.
Warning: if the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, his service
agent, or a similar qualified person in order to avoid any hazard.
3. General Guidelines
Refer to the on the last pages of this manual. Velleman® Service and Quality Warranty
Indoor use only. Keep this device away form rain, moisture, splashing and dripping
liquids.
Keep this device away from dust and extreme heat.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when operating the device.
Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it.
All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to
the device is not covered by the warranty.

5. Installation/operation

1. Open the table clamp by twisting the T-handle counter clockwise. [1]
2. Slide the clamp over a suitable and solid horizontal surface capable of carrying it, T-handle at the [1]
bottom. Do not attach to round objects e.g. tubes.
