INSTALLATION
The device ships with a ferrite for
optional usage. For any concerns over
line performance, wrap CAT5/CAT6
Ethernet cable around ferrite once and
clamp shut.
• Designed for use in drop ceilings.
• Cut ceiling tile if needed to
accommodate a 2-foot by 2-foot
space.
• Complete the network cable run to
the IPSCM.
• Connect the network cable to
Ethernet jack labeled PoE/PoE+.
BUTTON KIT WITH
MICROPHONE (OPTIONAL)
The module on the IPSCM
includes a compatible center
RJ25 port, designed to
connect with the option al
Button Kit with Microphone
(BTN-KIT-MIC-ND) accessory (sold
separately).
To install,
simply
disconnect
the IPSCM
RJ25 plug
from the
center port,
and run an RJ25 cable to the BTN-KIT-
MIC-ND wall plate. See Installation Flyer
for Button Kit with Microphone for
details.
