Safety
• Before starting to use thetool, check that it is complete and undamaged. Thetool
or its accessories must not be used if they have been dropped or damaged in any way.
• Thepower lead should be checked regularly. If thepower cable is damaged it can
only be replaced by theretailer or qualified service technician.
• Thenozzle of tool must not be pointed in thedirection of electrical appliances
orfittings.
• Never open thelid of thewater tank or unscrew thehose during use or before
thetool has cooled. Waitat least 5 minutes after thetool has been unplugged.
• Do not move thestripper by pulling thelead, use thehandle.
• Do not stand on thetool and avoid standing on thehose.
• Keep thehose in order. Ifit should kink or become tangled, unplug thestripper
atonce and let it cool down before rectifying thefault.
• Make sure that themains power at thesocket is 230 V AC, that extension leads
have anarea of at least 1.5 mm² and that anRCD is fitted.
• Do not cover or block thepressure relief valve.
• Place thewallpaper stripper on aneven and level surface, otherwise it might overheat.
• Always hold thesteam pad away from your face. Watchout for drops of water,
especially when working over head height.
• Use only clean water and do not overfill.
• Never add detergent or other chemicals to thewater.
• Never direct thesteam towards people, animals or anything that might
be damaged.
• Always unplug thetool from thewall socket after use and before cleaning.
• Never leave thetool unattended whilst it is plugged in.
• Never place thetool close to sources of heat such as fires, radiators, fan heaters, etc.
• Thetool is fitted with athermostat that regulates thetemperature and prevents
overheating. Ifthetemperature continues to rise above working temperature,
unplug thetool immediately. Sendthetool in for service.
• Never cover thetool during or directly after use.
