Safety
Any electrical work on existing electrical installations must be performed
by acompetent person in compliance with current wiring regulations.
New electrical installations should only be performed by anauthorised
electrician.
Product description
This in-line dimmer switch is suitable for use with 10–150 W incandescent
and halogen lights, 11–75 W CFL lights or 4–25 W LED lights.
Installation
Warning: Unplug thecable before installing thedimmer switch.
1. Undo thescrews (A).
2. Remove thecover (B) and thepush-button (C).
3. Undo thescrews (D) holding thecable strain relief (E).
4. Cut theelectric cable where you want to install thedimmer switch
and strip theinsulation off theends of theelectric cable and
thetwo wires inside (see fig.).
5. Connect thewires on thepower-in (wall socket) side of theelectric
cable to theL and N screw terminals on thecircuit board (F).
Tighten thescrews of thestrain relief to hold thecable in place
(thestrain relief is reversible to fit different types of cable).
6. Connect thewires on thepower-out side of theswitch to
and N.
Tighten thestrain relief (E).
7. Place thepush-button (C) into thecover (B). Make sure that
thepush-button is sitting correctly in its slot and then fasten
theswitch housing together using thetwo screws (A).

Operating instructions
On/off press thepush-button (C) quickly (less than one second).
Min/max hold in thepush-button to dim thelight level from light
to dark. Hold thebutton in again to reverse theeffect and increase
thelight.
Thedimmer switch memorises thelatest setting. Thememory is saved
even if theswitch is unplugged.
Note: Electricity will still pass through theswitch even when thedial is
set to Min.
Care and maintenance
Unplug themains lead before cleaning theproduct.
Clean theproduct using asoft, damp cloth. Use amild detergent.
Never use solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning agents.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be
disposed of with general household waste. This applies
throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent any
harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed
in for recycling so that thematerial can be disposed
of in aresponsible manner. When recycling your
product, take it to your local collection facility or contact
theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct
is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
