then save it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in
text or images and any necessary changes made to technical data.

Safety
Warning:
• This product may only be used outdoors in dry weather and never
left unattended.
• Take the product indoors in the event of rain and after use.
• Theproduct can become very hot during use and cause burns.
Special care must be taken if theproduct is used in thesame room
as young children, aged or infirm persons.
• Never cover theproduct, doing so could cause overheating and fire.
• Theproduct has no thermostat function to control theroom
temperature. Never use theproduct in spaces which are too small
or premises containing persons incapable of leaving thepremises
themselves unless theproduct can be supervised continuously.
• Theproduct may be used by children of 8 years and above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or
lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe
way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without adult supervision.
• Theproduct must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of
age unless they are under constant supervision.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must only switch
theproduct on/off provided that it has been placed or installed in
its intended normal operating position and they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of theproduct in asafe
way and understand thehazards involved.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in,
regulate, clean or perform user maintenance on theproduct.
• Theproduct must only be connected to astandard domestic
220−240 V, 50/60 Hz electrical supply.
• Theproduct must only be used as described in this instruction manual.
• Theproduct should never be connected using anon/off timer or
other equipment which can automatically switch theproduct on.
• Never mount theproduct immediately in front of or below amains outlet.
• If themains lead is damaged it must only be replaced by aqualified
electrician.
• Never use theproduct if your hands are moist or wet.
• Never try to open thehousing, repair or modify theproduct in any way.
• Repairs must only be carried out by qualified electricians and only
using genuine spare parts.
• Never use theproduct where it risks being exposed to moisture,
splashed by water or any other types of liquids.
• Never position theproduct where it is exposed to rain or snow.
• Never use theproduct in thebathroom/shower room.
• Do not place theproduct where there is arisk of it falling into water
or other types of liquid.
• Never leave theproduct unattended when it is connected to
thepower supply. Always unplug theproduct from thepower point
when it is not in use.
• Never insert foreign objects through thesafety grille or housing.
Doing so could result in anelectric shock.
• Never use theproduct in areas where explosive or flammable gases
or liquids are stored.
• Do not leave theproduct in direct sunlight for long periods.
• Theproduct must only be placed on afirm, flat surface.
• Place theproduct at least 1m away from combustible materials.
• Do not subject theproduct to impacts or shocks and do not expose it
to extremely hot, cold or dusty environments.
Product description
• Theheater has no thermostat function to control theroom
temperature. Never use theheater in spaces which are too small
or premises containing persons incapable of leaving thepremises
themselves unless theheater can be supervised continuously.
1. Place theinfrared heater on alevel surface and plug it into
apower point.
2. Set thepower switch (3) to ON to turn theheater on.
3. Set theswitch (2) to oscillating mode to turn on oscillation.
4. Turn thetimer dial to thedesired time you wish to have theheater on,
0−180 min. Theheater will automatically shut off once thetimer has
reached zero.
Note: Theinfrared heater is fitted with atip-over switch which switches
theheater off if it falls over. Theheater will then switch on again automatically
once it has been stood back up.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug thelead from thepower point and let theheater cool
down before cleaning or moving it.
• Clean theexterior of theheater by wiping it with adamp cloth.
Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Unplug themains lead from thewall socket and store theproduct in
adry, dust-free environment out of thereach of children whenever it
is not to be used for anextended period.

is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
