INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Fit the spring compressors onto the coil spring, ensuring they are opposite each

other.

2. Compress the spring evenly by tightening the hexagon headed bolts on both

compressors. This can be done using any ½" square drive driving tool or a 24mm

wrench or socket.

3. When fully compressed the shock absorber can be removed. When removing the

compressors, ensure that both clamps are slackened off evenly.

4. Maximum operating torque should not exceed 20lb-ft (27Nm) for operator safety.

IMPORTANT

Always wear safety glasses and gloves when using these compressors.

For detailed and concise instructions on the correct use of this tool, refer

to the vehicle manufacturer’s or Haynes workshop manuals.

WARNING:

When compressing springs, always ensure clamps remain correctly aligned as

pressure is applied. When releasing pressure from springs for replacement, etc.,

undo both clamps evenly 2 to 3 turns on the bolts at a time.
