• Thespeaker must only be connected to a110–240 V, 50/60 Hz wall socket.
• Make sure that the wall socket to which the mains lead is connected is easily accessible,
since this is the only way to completely disconnect the speaker from the mains supply.
• Place thespeaker on astable, flat surface.

objects containing liquid , such as vases or drinks onto the speaker.

• Place thespeaker in anarea where there is no risk of anyone tripping over its mainslead.
• Never subject thespeaker to high temperaturese.g. prolonged sunlight exposure, dust, heavy

grip theplug itself. Makesure that themains lead does not come into contact with heat,
sharp edges or is any way crushed.
• Disconnect theplug from thewall socket during thunderstorms or if thespeaker is not to be
used for alongtime.
• Thestandby switch on the speaker does not completely disconnect it from themains.
To completely disconnect the speaker from the mains, the plug must be removed from the
wall socket.
• Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to permanent
hearingloss.
• Do not use thespeaker if it or themains lead is damaged in anyway.
