Die EX-6069 ist eine high speed Gigabit Ethernet PCI-Express Karte. Sie ist mit einem exter-

nen Port ausgestattet. Sie unterstützt alle PCI-Express Slots von p1-x1 bis x16. Der serielle PCI-

Express Bus unterstützt optimal die Leistung des schnellen Realtek Chipsatz. Die EX-6069

gewährleistet so eine sichere Datenübertragung und exzellente Performance von bis zu

1000Mbit/s! Es ist nicht möglich die I/O Adressen und Interrupts manuell einzustellen. Die

Einstellungen werden vom System (BIOS) und beim installieren des Betriebssystems automa-

tisch vorgenommen. Im Lieferumfang ist zusätzlich ein Low Profile Bügel enthalten, für den

Einbau in schmale Gehäuse.

Please note the following installation instructions. Because there are large differences between the

PC’s, we can give you only a general installation instructions for the EX-6069. Please refer your

computer’s reference manual whenever in doubt.

1.Turn off the power to your computer and any other connected peripherals.

2.Remove the mounting screws located at the rear and/or sides panels of your Computer and

gently slide the cover off.

3.Locate an available PCI-Express expansion slot and insert the card. Make sure that the card

is plugged in correctly.

4.Then attach the card with a screw to the rear panel of the computer.

5.Gently replace your computer’s cover and the mounting screws.

MAC

The drivers are located in the following folder on our driver CD:

"D:\LAN\Realtek\8110SC\MacOS"

Because each individual version of MacOS is different, sadly we can not provide a installation

instruction. Please refer to the installation manual for Ethernet ports from your MacOS version!

In some newer versions the card will even be installed automatically after starting the OS.

Linux / Unix

The drivers are located in the following folder on our driver CD:

"D:\LAN\Realtek\8110SC\Unix(Linux)"

Because each individual version/distribution and kernel version of Linux/UNIX is different, sadly

we can not provide a installation instruction. Please refer to the installation manual for Ethernet

ports from your Linux/UNIX version! In some newer versions the card will even be installed

automatically after starting the OS.

After completing the hardware installation, the operating system will automatically the card and

install this! If the driver should not be installed automatically, insert the driver CD into you CD-

ROM drive (eg drive D:) and then open the folder „LAN/Realtek/RTL8110SC“. Please select the

folder with your operating system and install the driver (see Picture). Follow the hardware

assistant and finish the installation. Important! Restart your PC in any case after installing the

drivers.
