Operating Instructions
AC VOLTAGE DETECTION
1. For low voltage testing (24 to 100V), press and hold the
24V button (5). For standard electrical work (>100V,
this is not necessary.
2. Touch the probe tip (7) to the hot conductor or insert
into the hot side of the electrical outlet.
3. If AC voltage is present, the detector cone will illuminate
(6) and the detector will beep.
NOTE: The detector is designed with high sensitivity. Static
electricity or other sources of energy may randomly
trip the senso This is normal operation.r.
FLASHLIGHT
Press and hold the flashlight ON/OFF button (2) to turn
on the flashlight (1).
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Remove the end cap (3 b inserting a small ) y
screwdriver in the pocket clip (4) to release the catch.
2. Insert two AAA batteries (observe polarity).
3. Replace the end cap
NOTE: If your meter does not work properly, che the battery ck
to make sure that it still good and that it is properly inserted.

batteries in household wast e.

where the batteries were purchased, or wherever
batteries are sold.
Disposal: Do not dispose of this instrument in household
