Overview
The Extron DA4 HD 4K PLUS and DA6HD4KPLUS distribution ampliers distribute one HDMIinput signal to four or six outputs
simultaneously at resolutions up to UHD and 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, following the HDMI2.0b and HDCP2.2 specications. This setup
guide provides basic instructions for installation by an experienced installer.

— Lights when power is Power status LED
applied to the unit.
B
— Used for SIS or PCS to USB Config port
configure, monitor, and update firmware on the
unit.
C
— Lights when a TMDS signal is Input Signal LED
detected on the HDMI input. If the source requires
HDCP encryption, this LED lights only when HDCP
is authenticated.
D
— Light when HPD is Output Signal LEDs
detected from the corresponding sink device and
when a TMDS signal is detected at the input.
E
— Lights when the source Input HDCP LED
requires HDCP encryption and it has been
authenticated with the HDMI input.
F
— Light when HDCP is Output HDCP LEDs
authenticated between the DA4HD4KPLUS or
DA6HD4KPLUS output and the corresponding
sink device.
A
— Connect the provided IEC cable Power input
to a 100‑240VAC (50or 60Hz) power source.
B
— Connect a source device to this HDMI input
female HDMI type A input.
C
— Connect up to four or six display HDMI outputs
devices to these female HDMI type A outputs.
D
— Connect the provided Remote RS-232 port
3‑pole captive screw connector for SIS
configuration, monitoring, and firmware updates
(Pin 1 = Tx, Pin 2 = Rx, Pin 3 = Ground).
Protocol: 9600 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit,
no parity.
