2Safety

2.1General safety instructions

–Only use the product in original status without unauthorised modifications.

–Only use the product if it is in perfect technical condition.

–Observe labelling on the product.

–Take into consideration the ambient conditions at the location of use.

–This product can generate high frequency malfunctions, which may make it

necessary to implement interference suppression measures in residential

areas.

–Prior to mounting, installation and maintenance work: Switch off power sup-

ply and secure it from being switched back on.

–Comply with the handling specifications for electrostatically sensitive devices.

2.2Intended use

The control system is part of the balancer kit YHBP. It is used exclusively for con-

trolling and monitoring the pneumatic balancer.

2.3Training of qualified personnel

Installation, commissioning, maintenance and disassembly should only be con-

ducted by qualified personnel. The specialized personnel must be familiar with

the installation and operation of electrical and pneumatic control systems.

6.1Mounting with screws

•Select screws according to the mounting situation.

Connection of electrical lines

All necessary connecting cables from the control system to the supplied compon-

ents of the balancer kit YHBP are already pre-assembled at the factory.

2.When feeding in the supply voltage, pay attention to the on-site back-up fuse.

A mains disconnector device is not in scope of delivery.

NOTICE!

Unauthorised Access to the Device Can Cause Damage or Malfunction.

•When connecting the device to a network, protect the network from unauthor-

ised access.

Standards for security in information technology can be used for network pro-

tection measures,e.g. IEC62443, ISO/IEC27001.

Connection of digital inputs and outputs

Up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs can be connected using pre-assembled cables

8Commissioning

NOTICE!

Material damage due to incorrect or incomplete installation.

The following conditions must be fulfilled for commissioning:

•The system must be fully assembled.

•The electrical installation must be complete and checked.

•The pneumatic installation must be complete and checked.

9Maintenance

A daily functional test is recommended for preventive maintenance.

Conversions of the control system are not permitted.
