7. Programming asecond push
Within5 minutes of pressing the first push, press the second
push
until the chime sounds, then use button B tochange the tune
if required.
If more than 5 minuteshas elapsed sincethe first pushwas
programmed, press andhold both buttons A and B until the chime
sounds, this takesapprox5 seconds.Thechime is now cleared
andcan programmed toone or two door pushes
All EVO andDécorChimesand Bell Pushesuse programming
toensure no interactionfrom other neighbouring systems.

Chime tune options are as follows:
1. Big Ben 2 Note(Default Tune for 1st Push)
2. Mini Bell 4 Note w/ Echo (Default Tune for 2nd Push)

The settingsare:
0. Sound only
1. Sound with flashing light
2. Flashing light only
Flashing Light and sound control
To turn the door chime sound off or tostop
the flashingLED lightwhen the bellpush
is pressed,turn knob C
Note: when thechime isbeing programmed
this controlwillnotfunction for5minutes.
Trouble Shooting
Chime not Sounding
Batteries may not be inserted correctly
Check all batteries have been inserted correctly
Chime may be positionedout ofrange of the bell push
Move your chime closer to thebell push
Note:
During the programming cycle thetransmission range may be reduced
The chime will resume optimum range after5 minutes
A metallic object may be blocking the signal from bell push position
Experiment with the location ofthe chime to see if you can move it in a
more suitable place
The battery in thebell push may need replacing
Pressthe bell push. If the confidencelight (D) flashes 5 times after
being pushed, replace the battery
Note: In cold conditions, poor locationor environment, operating at
maximum range itisadvisable toreplace thebattery morefrequently
before the indicatorlightflashes
(i.e every12 - 18 months) to maintainoptimumperformance
Your bell push and chime haven't been programmed
Do the automatic programming of your chime and bell push
The Selectionknobmay have beenset incorrectly
Do position of knob C as described in section 8 above
LED flashing light does not flash
The selectionknob isnot setcorrectly, reset position ofknob C as
describedin section 8 above

Onlylong-life Alkaline batteries must be used
Asmall crosshead and flatheadscrewdriver, a ø5mm.masonry drill
Installation
*Pleasenote: Thestatedrange ofthisproduct ismeasuredin open
field conditions.Walls,ceilings and the positioning thebell push or
door chime on or nearmetal structures or reinforcedPVC doors or
doorframeswill reduce thetransmission range.
1. Openthebellpush
Toopen the front cover carefully
insert aflatbladed screw driver,into
the slotandtwistgently (A). When
refitting thefrontcover toensure the
weather proofingismaintained,
always mountthe bellpush inthe
upright position and replace the
coversecurely. Fig.1
2. Tofitorreplacethebattery
Open the frontcover and
insert theCR2032Lithium
coin cellbatteryintothe cover
as showninFig. 2.
3. Mountthebellpush
Ensure the wall surface isclean and dry.
Mount usingeitherthedouble sided
sticky pad on a smooth surface, or the
screws andwall plugsprovided, SeeFig3.
Donot mount the push on or near (< 30cm)
large metalobjects,as itwillblocksignals
from thepush. Next, hookthecover at
thetop, then press down at the bottom to
clip inplace.
4. Testthebellpush
When thebellpushbutton ispressed,
the confidence light(B)
in Fig.4,will
illuminate toreassurethe callerthat
the bellpushis
working.
The lightwillflash5 timeswhen
the batteryneedsreplacing
5. FittheDoorchimebatteries
Remove batterycompartmentcoverandinsert three LR6(AA)
alkaline batteriesasshownin Fig. 8.
The firsttimeachime unitispowered up,thesounds available
are demonstrated.
6. AutomaticProgrammingofbellpushes
First,placethechime close tothedoorpush (within 8m/25ft)
to programthechime andcheck thatitis working.
Pressthe doorpush until the chime responds with a tune.
You can leavethis tune or change the tune byusing buttonA
(see Fig.6,soundselection).
10. ReplacingBatteries
First remove decorative cover
and replace with three LR6 (AA)
alkalinebatteries. (Fig. 8)
When replacingbatteriesthe
chime isstillprogrammed
and canbe usedstraight away.
