MANTENIMIENTO
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico e incendio, por favor obedezca las
siguientes instrucciones.
- Siempre desconecte el cable eléctrico antes de trasladar, reparar o limpiar.
- NUNCA coloque el Ventilador dentro de o cerca de agua.
- Limpie el Ventilador únicamente con una aspiradora equipada con un accesorio de cepillo; la aspiradora quitará
el polvillo y los desperdicios del interior del Ventilador.

OR MOVING THE FAN. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. ALWAYS TURN OFF AND UNPLUG FAN BEFORE
LEAVING THE AREA. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN UNATTENDED WHEN THE FAN IS ON OR PLUGGED IN.

sion cord, minimize the risk of overheating by using the shortest cord possible and ensuring that it is UL listed. NEVER use a single
extension cord to operate more than one Fan.

CONTROL REMOTO:
Todas las funciones realizadas con el Control Remoto

FUNCIONAMIENTO (Figura 1)
1. Cuidadosamente retire el Ventilador de la caja.
2. Coloque el ventilador sobre una superficie firme y
nivelada.
ADVERTENCIA: Los tacos de plástico o hule, tales como
las patas de esta unidad, pueden pegarse a la superficie
de los muebles. La unidad podría dejar un residuo capaz
de oscurecer, manchar o dejar marcas permanentes en el
acabado de ciertas superficies de muebles, incluyendo
superficies y pisos de madera.
3. Conecte el cable eléctrico a un tomacorriente de 120
V~.
Asegúrese que el enchufe encaje firmemente en el
tomacorriente.
Cuando los enchufes quedan flojos en los
tomacorrientes, pueden deslizarse parcial
o completamente fuera del tomacorriente
con un leve movimiento del cable adosado.

4. Para ajustar la direccion del aire, simplemente jire la

5. La cremallera con un adjuste de mantendra el ventilador

NOTA: El ensamble de la cremallera en el Ventilador esta
disenada para que trabe en cada posicion. Asi que cuando
ajuste el angulo del ventilador oira un sonido lo cual es
normal.
6. Conecte la energía eléctrica a su ventilador pulsando el
Botón Alimentación ( ) en el Ventilador.
7. VELOCIDAD DEL VENTILADOR: Ahora puede ajustar la
velocidad del ventilador al nivel deseado - Alta, Mediana
ó Baja - pulsando el Botón Velocidad ( ) en el Ventila-
dor.
8. Este ventilador tiene FUNCIÓN DE TEMPORIZADOR:
un temporizador que le permite fijar el tiempo de funcio-
namiento pulsando el Botón Función de Temporizador
( ), ubicado en la zona de los controles en el ventilador.
Pulse la tecla una vez para dos hora de funcionamiento,
dos veces para cuatro horas y tres veces para ocho horas.
Si se pulsa por cuarta vez, el ventilador vuelve al modo
de funcionamiento continuo.
9.Después de apagar el Ventilador, desconecte la unidad
del tomacorriente eléctrico.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons, including the following:

PARA MONTAR EN LA PARED:
ESTE VENTILADOR se DEBE MONTAR EN UNA SUPERFICIE
PLANA ESTRUCTURALMENTE SOLIDA.
Sólo uso #6-32 X 1" tornillos para montar este Ventilador. La lon-
gitud del tornillo debe ser lo suficientemente larga para ajustarse
al clavo pared. Si un clavo no puede ser montado ni si el Ventilador
se monta en una pared utilice unas anclas mas covenientes para
este tipo de montaje.
Al montar el Ventilador a la pared, el conjunto de cuerda se debe
localizar entre el Cuerpo del Ventilador y la Yunta del Ventilador.

CONSERVE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES
6. Este Ventilador NO debe ser usado en lugares potencialmente peligrosos tales como atmósferas inflamables, explosivas, cargadas
de sustancias químicas o húmedas donde se usen o almacenen gasolina, pintura o líquidos inflamables.
7. NO use el Ventilador dentro de o cerca de una ventana. La lluvia podría crear un riesgo eléctrico.
8. Arme el Ventilador completamente, siguiendo las instrucciones, antes de conectarlo a la fuente de alimentación eléctrica.

9. Donde sea posible, evite el uso de cables de alargue porque el cable de alargue podría sobrecalentarse y provocar un incendio. Si
debe usar un cable de alargue, minimice el riesgo de sobrecalentamiento usando el cable más corto posible y garantizando que esté
autorizado por UL (Underwriters Laboratories). NUNCA use un solo cable de alargue para hacer funcionar a más de un Ventilador.
10. NUNCA ponga en funcionamiento ningún Ventilador con un cable o enchufe dañado o después que el Ventilador haya tenido fallas
de funcionamiento, haya sido arrojado o dañado de cualquier manera. No hay partes que los usuarios puedan reparar. Devuelva el

el mismo. NO coloque el Cable Eléctrico debajo de las alfombras. NO cubra el Cable Eléctrico con tapetes, alfombras de hule o
similares. Coloque el Cable Eléctrico lejos del paso de la habitación y donde nadie pueda tropezarse con él.
13. Este Ventilador no está destinado para ser usado en lugares húmedos o mojados. Nunca coloque un Ventilador donde pueda caer
dentro de una tina de baño u otro recipiente de agua. NUNCA use un Ventilador donde se usen o almacenen líquidos inflamables.
14. NUNCA use el Ventilador al aire libre.
15. Cuando use el control remoto de su televisor u otro equipamiento, verifique para controlar que no encienda el Ventilador también.
16. Mantenga la unidad de control remoto del Ventilador lejos de sillas y de su cama donde exista la posibilidad de que alguien se siente
encima, deposite elementos sobre él o encienda el Ventilador inadvertidamente.

MODEL 3540
OPERATION (Figure 1)
1. Carefully remove the Fan from the carton.
2. Place the Fan on a firm and level surface.
CAUTION: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this
unit, may stick to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood
floors. The unit may leave a residue that could darken,
stain or leave permanent blemishes on the finish of
certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces,
and/or hardwood floors.
3. Plug the cord set into a 120 volt outlet.
Be sure that the plug fits tightly into outlet.
When plugs fit loosely into receptacles,
they may slip partially or completely out of
the receptacle with only the slight move-
ment of the attached cord. Receptacles
in this condition may overheat and pose a
serious fire hazard; if covered by a curtain
or drape, the fire hazard is even greater.
4. To adjust direction of air, simply tilt the head of the fan.
5. The ratchet adjustment will securely locate and hold
the fan in the desired position.
NOTE: The ratchet assembly on this Fan is designed
for positive lock positioning. Therefore, when adjust-
ing the fan angle, you will hear a clicking sound. This
is normal.
6. Apply power to your fan by pushing the Power
Button ( ).
7. FAN SPEED: You may now adjust the fan speed to
the desired level, High, Medium or Low by pressing
the ( ) on the Fan. Fan Speed Button
8. TIMER FUNCTION: This fan is equipped with a
timer that allows you to set the length of operation
by pressing the Timer Function Button ( ) on the
control area of the fan or the remote control. Press it
once for two hours, twice for four hours, a third time
for eight hours. A fourth time will reset the fan to
continuous running mode.
9. After turning the Fan off, unplug the unit from the
electrical outlet.
REMOTE CONTROL:
All the functions performed with the Remote Control
work identically to the manual controls. (Figure 2)
1. Install batteries (not supplied) as shown in
Figure 2. The battery is type "AAA".
2. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries
3. DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN FIRE. BATTERIES
MAY EXPLODE OR LEAK.
If you lose your remote control, please call Customer
Service to order a replacement at 1-800-233-0268,
Monday through Friday, between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

WALLMOUNT:
THIS FAN MUST BE MOUNTED ON A STRUCTURALLY SOLID
FLAT SURFACE.
Only use #6-32 X 1" screws to mount this Fan. The screw length
must be long enough to engage the wall stud. If a stud cannot be
found or if the Fan is mounted on a masonry wall, obtain suitable
mounting anchors.
When mounting the Fan to the wall, the cord set MUST BE located
between the Body of the Fan and the Yoke of the Fan. (Figure 3)
