The under-unit lights
HG00198A-BS and
HG00198B-BS are intended for
providing illumination and for
mounting on furniture. Under-unit
light HG00198B-BS can also be
mounted on walls. The product
may only be used indoors in dry
rooms. The LEDs cannot be

eplaced. The light can be
mounted
on all normally
flammable surfaces. This device
is intended for use only in a
domestic, private household
environment.

lampshades are faulty. If
they are, contact the service

a safe location. This document is
required as your proof of
purchase. This warranty
becomes void if the device has
been damaged or improperly
used or maintained.
The warranty applies to faults in
material or manufacture. This
warranty does not cover
product parts subject to normal
wear, thus possibly considered

Disposal
The packaging and
ancillary packing
consist entirely of
environmentally-friendly
materials. They can be disposed
of at your local recycling facility.
The symbol of the
wheelie bin with the
line through it means
that, in the European Union, the
product has to be disposed of in
a separate refuse collection.
This applies to the product and
to all components bearing this
symbol. Products marked in this
way may not be disposed of
along with normal domestic
waste but have to be handed in
at a recycling collection point

Insert the supplied screws

tighten them. Let them
project a distance of about
1.3 mm from the wall or
mounting surface.
j Attach the light to the
screws

mains socket. Your light is
now ready for operation.
Extensions
j Note: Ensure that no more
than 3 under-unit lights of the
same type (HG00198B-BS)
are connected together in
series. Install each
additional light at a
distance of approx. 15 cm
as described.
j Remove the protective cap

. Connect the two under-
unit lights to the socket

using the extension lead

. Then you only need
one connection lead

the power supply.
j CAUTION! First ensure
that all the under-unit lights
are connected by an
extension lead

you insert the mains lead
into the mains socket.
j First screw only one of the
mounting rails

in the pre-
drilled positions with the
supplied screws

j Place the under-cabinet light
flat on the mounting surface
and push it onto the
mounting rail

up to the
stop in the slot

j Push the second mounting
rail

into the slot

on
the under-cabinet light so
that the drilled hole is
visible. Tighten the screw in
this position (see Fig. D).
j Now push the under-
cabinet light a little to the
right. Both mounting rails

should now be firmly
positioned (see Fig. E).
Check that the under-
cabinet light is fitted
securely.
j Plug the connecting lead

into the socket

j Plug the mains plug of the
connecting lead

into a
socket. Your under-cabinet
light is now ready for
operation.

Mounting model

a wall
j Measure up the wall or
mounting surface for drilling
the holes. Use a spirit level
to improve accuracy.
j Mark the two mounting
holes a distance of approx.
403 mm apart.
j Now drill the mounting
holes (ø approx. 6 mm,
depth approx. 30 mm).
CAUTION! Make sure that
you do not damage any
electrical cables during this
operation.
j Position the under-cabinet
light according to the drilled
holes and tighten the
screws

j Plug the connecting lead

into the socket

j Plug the mains plug of the
connecting lead

into a
socket. Your under-cabinet
light is now ready for
operation.
Note: Only use the lamp
with the mains adapter it
was delivered with
(YNQST120025BL).
Damage due to use of a
different adapter is not
covered by the guarantee.

j Use the mounting rails

(see also Fig. B) and the
screws

installation.
j Measure the space for
installation of the light. Use
a spirit level to position it
correctly.
Mark where you wish to
drill and pre-drill the holes.
j Mark the distance of
533 mm for the two fixing
holes. Drill the holes: ø
approx. 2 mm, approx.
10 mm deep.
Note: The supplied screws
are for standard installation
under wall cabinets and are
not suitable for every type
of wall. If installing on
concrete walls, for example,
you will need to use special
dowels and screws.
Information on suitable
installation material can be
obtained from specialist
stores.

dimmers or electronic
switches. It is not suitable
for these purposes.
Working safely
J Install the lamp so that it is
protected from moisture,
wind and dirt.
J Make careful preparations
for the assembly and take

additional tools or materials
that might be required so
that they are readily to
hand.
J Remain alert at all times
and always watch what you
are doing. Always proceed
with caution and do not
assemble the lamp if you
cannot concentrate or feel
unwell.
