holes on sixteen (inch centers and 16)

twenty-four (inch centers for mounting 24)

to floor joistsrafters, , trussesmetal rails, ,

or other ceiling support structure before the

drywall ceiling is installed. Screw types

required to mount these rough-in bridges

vary widely depending on the construction

of the ceiling structureso , mounting

screws are not included and will be

supplied by the installer. Mount the

bridge to the ceiling structure with the lip

downward toward the floor. Install speaker

cable and leave a loop above the rough-in

bridge where it will be accessible after the

ceiling has been installed. When the

ceiling contractor installs the drywallthe lip ,

on the rough-in bridge will be used as a

router guide to cut the hole in the ceiling at

the location you have predetermined.
