negative battery terminal before beginning any

installation. All accessories, switches, and especially

air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before

reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.

From the LD-AX-XSVI-AU1 harness to the aftermarket radio

(a) From the 12-pin harness:

• Connectthe wiretotheaccessorywire.Red

• Connectthe wiretotheilluminationwire,iftheaftermarketradiohasOrange

noilluminationwire,tapeoffthe wire.Orange

• Connectthe wiretotheampturnonwire(thiswiremustbeBlue/White

connectedtohearsoundfromthefactoryamplifier).

There is a wire on the 40-pin harness to connect as well.Note: Blue

Thefollowingwiresareforaftermarketmultimedia/navigationradiosthatprovide

thesewires(ifnotrequired,tapethemoffanddisregardthem):

• Connectthe wiretotheparkingbrakewire(ifapplicable).Light Green

• Connectthe wiretothereversewire(ifapplicable).Green/Purple

• The wirewillnotbeused,tapeitoffanddisregardit.Blue/Pink

Note: This wire will be on the 40-pin harness instead.

(b) From the 40-pin harness:

• Connectthe and wirestothegroundwire.Black Black/White

• ConnecttheYellow wiretothebatterywire.

• Connectthe wiretotheampturnonwire(thiswiremustbeconnectedBlue

tohearsoundfromthefactoryamplifier).

• Connectthe wiretothespeedsensewire(V.S.S.),ifapplicable.Blue/Pink

For non-BOSE systems:

• Disregardthe RCA,itwillnotbeusedinthisapplication. White

• Disregardthe RCA,itwillnotbeusedinthisapplication.Gray

• Connectthe RCAtotheleftrearRCAoutput.Green

• Connectthe RCAtotherightrearRCAoutput.Purple

• Connectthe wiretotheleftfrontpositivespeakeroutput.White

and wires.Gray/Black

Note: It is highly recommended that the radio being used has 2 sets

of RCA outputs to retain balance and fade; 3 sets if a sub-woofer amplifier

will be added.

• ThisharnessistobeusedinconjunctionwiththeoptionalASWC-1

(notincluded)toretainsteeringwheelcontrols.IftheASWC-1isnotbeing

used,disregardthisharness.Ifitwillbeused,pleaserefertotheASWC-1

instructionsforradioconnectionsandprogramming.

Note: Disregard the harness that comes with the ASWC-1.

Withthekeyintheoffposition:

• Connectthe12-pinharnessintotheinterface.

• Connectthe40-pinharnessintothevehicle.

• Withallconnectionscompleted,reconnectthenegativebatteryterminal.

• Initializetheinterfacebyturningtheignitiononfor30seconds,thenturnthe

ignitionbackoff,thenbackonagain.

Note: If using the ASWC-1, connect it after you initialize the XSVI-9004-NAV, with

the key in the off position.
