THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE NSR-1514 LED WORK LIGHT.

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR WORK LIGHT.

WARNINGS

yLithium-ion batteries must be used and charged properly. Improper use can result in serious injury,

 re, or death.

yNOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS. Do not use this product in explosive atmospheres,

near  ammable liquids, or where explosion proof or intrinsically safe lighting is required.

yDO NOT use this product in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a risk of

 ammable liquids coming into contact with the  ashlight.

yLight can become hot while on. To prevent damage DO NOT cover or place next to any potentially

 ammable materials while in use.

yDo not leave the battery in direct sunlight or use or store the battery inside cars in hot weather.

yDo not expose the battery to water or salt water, or allow the battery to get wet.

yDo not store the battery with metallic objects that may cause a short circuit.

yImmediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery emits an unusual smell, feels hot, changes

color, changes shape or appears abnormal in any way.

yKeep out of the reach of children.

INITIAL USE

Fully charge the NSR-1514 before the  rst use, or if the battery is new or has been unused for several

months. The maximum charge time required is approximately 3 hours.

DAILY USE

CHARGER INPUT: 12 VDC Max

yUse only the supplied Nightstick AC, DC adapter, or USB cord. For best performance, charge the

NSR-1514 when the light starts to dim.

yConnect the AC, DC adapter, or USB cord into the bottom of the light.

yThe total time to full charge the NSR-1514 varies depending on the remaining charge in the

battery pack.

yIn order for the light to be waterproof the rubber plug must be reinserted into the charging port.

SETTING UP THE WORK LIGHT (MODEL 1514C)

Opening the tripod leg set:

Fully unfold the Tripod leg set and slide the center collar down until it locks into place.

WARNING: Do NOT attempt to use the tripod leg set unless the legs are fully extended and

locked into place. This is the ONLY position that the leg set can be used in.

Closing the tripod leg set:

Press the release button on the side of the center collar and then raise the center collar up until

the tripod leg set is fully retracted.

Adjusting the column sections:

The tripod has two adjustable sections of the column that can be used to customize the working

height of the work light. Each section is locked into place by means of a cam lock lever. (Image 2) To

adjust the height of either section, release the cam lock lever for that section, extend the column to the

desired length and the re-lock the cam lock lever.

Removing the light head from the tripod:

The NSR-1514C is designed so that the light head can be removed from the tripod. To remove the

light head, grasp the lights handle with one hand, and grasp the top of the tripod stand with the other

hand a pull the magnet apart from the mounting plate.

Installing the light head onto the tripod:

CAUTION: Before installing the light head on to the tripod, be certain that the leg set is fully

extended and locked in place and that both of the two column cam lock levers are securely

locked.

To install the light head on to the tripod, simply line up the light heads magnetic base with the

tripods mounting plate (Image 3) allowing the magnet to secure itself to mounting plate. Be sure place

the light head directly onto the center of the mounting plate so that the light head is securely mounted.

OPERATION

CAUTION: BECAUSE THE NSR-1514 HAS A MAGNETIC BASE, IT IS LIKELY

THAT IT WILL BE PLACED IN AN ELEVATED POSITION ABOVE THE GROUND.

THEREFORE CAUTION SHOULD BE USED TO BE CERTAIN THAT THE MAGNET

IS SECURELY ATTACHED TO THE METAL SURFACE BEFORE RELEASING THE

LIGHT. IT IS ALSO ADVISED THAT EXTRA CARE BE TAKEN WHEN ADJUSTING

OR MOVING THE CORD SO THAT THE WORK LIGHT DOES NOT COME LOOSE

AND FALL TO THE GROUND.

The NSR-1514 has a single sealed push button switch located on the back of the light head.

Turning the light on high mode:

yPress and release the button one time.

Turning the light on low mode:

yPress and release the button a second time.

Turning the light off:

yPress and release the button a third time.

WARRANTY

1 YEAR WARRANTY

Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials

to the original purchaser for 1 year from the date of purchase, and includes the LEDs, housing, lenses,

electronics, switches, rechargeable batteries and chargers. Bulbs (other than LEDs) are covered for 90

days from the date of purchase.

We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the only warranty,

expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or  tness for a particular purpose.

UTILISATION INITIALE
