installing the amplifier

!Slots andopeningsin thecabinetareprovided

forventilationtoensurereliableoperation of

the product, andtoprotectit fromoverheat-

ing. To preventfirehazard,theopenings

should never be blocked or covered with items

(suchas papers, floormat, cloths).

!Thisunitisforvehicleswitha12 Vbatteryand

negative grounding. Beforeinstalling inre-

creationalvehicles, trucks orbuses, checkthe

battery voltage.

!When installingthisunit,makesuretocon-

nectthe ground wire first.Ensure that the

ground wireis properly connectedtometal

partsofthe cars body. The ground wire of the’

one ofthisunit mustbeconnectedtothecar

separately withdifferentscrews.Ifthescrew

fortheground wireloosens orfallsout, it

could result in fire, generation of smoke or

malfunction.

!Be sure to install the fuse tothe battery wire.

!Alwaysuse a fuse of therating prescribed.

overheating and smoke, damage to the pro-

ductandinjury, includingburns.

!Check theconnectionsofthepowersupply

and speakers ifthe fuseofthe separatelysold

battery wire or the amplifierfuse blows.Deter-

mineand resolve the cause,then replace the

fuse with andidenticalequivalent.

!Always installtheamplifieron aflatsurface.

Donotinstall the amplifier on a surface that

isnot flatoron asurfacewithaprotrusion.

!When installingtheamplifier, donotallow

parts such as extra screws to get caught be-

tween theamplifierandtheautomobile.

!Donot allow this unit to come into contact

with liquids.Electricalshock couldresult.

heating couldresult from contact with liquids.

The surfaces ofthe amplifierandany attached

speakers mayalsoheatupandcauseminor

burns.

supply to the amplifier is cut off to prevent

equipment malfunction. Ifthisoccurs, switch

the systempoweroffandcheck thepower

supply andspeaker connections. Ifyou areun-

able todetermine the cause,please contact

your dealer.

!Always disconnectthenegativeterminalof*

thebattery beforehand to avoid the riskof

electric shock orshort circuitduring installa-
