Attention: Carefully read all instructions and review the images before installing this product.
1. Remove Existing Block:
This block is designed to be used as a replacement or upgrade for the ProClip
ET50 Series of cradles.
Use the included Allen wrench to loosen the 4 thread forming screws attached
to the back of the cradle. Once loose, slide the block down and away from the
cradle.
3. Power and USB Cabling
This cradle includes retention clips to ensure the power and USB-A cables
cannot be accidentally removed.
Plug in the cable, and then place the retention clip with brass inserts over the
top of the cable. Use the included fasteners to secure the clip.
The included zip ties can be used with the included holes in the steel base
plate to manage cables and keep them secure.
2. Attach Charging Block:
Using the included screws, attach the charging block with the same 4 holes and the
included Allen wrench. This should be done to hand tight and not with a power tool.
It is recommended that you use the included new thread forming screws to attach this
block and not the old screws that were removed to ensure that the fastener is strong
and reliable.
4. Modular System:
This charging lock block one of several modular components of this cradle that allow
for easy upgrade or repair in the event a cradle is damaged. It includes the cable
retention clips and fasteners needed to make this a fully capable charging cradle with
USB Host port.
