Mic Stand
The MS311 PTT or PTM mic stand is a passive design.
That means NO power required, NO electronics used and
NO distortion will ever be added.
The chassis is made from .090" steel, meaning it is 3 times
thicker than most chassis. Female XLR jack for connection
to your mic and Male XLR for output.
All this and it is 100% Handcrafted in Salt Lake City, UT.

This device momentarily mutes (or talks) a microphone
signal. This function is very handy in the event of a
sneeze, cough, or other possible distracting noise. Or
when you need to control when a mic is active for an-
nouncing or paging.

To mount the bottom chassis to a solid surface:
Remove the four screws securing the bottom panel to the top of the
chassis.
With the bottom panel removed, you will have access to two counter-
sunk holes designed for mounting.
Secure the bottom panel to the desired surface using appropriate
mounting screws (not included).
Once mounted, reassemble the chassis by reattaching the bottom
panel with the four original screws.
To mute a microphone signal using the MS311:
1. Connect a balanced XLR cable from your microphone to the female input jack on the MS311.
2. Connect another XLR cable from the male output jack on the MS311 to your next device in the signal chain.
3. Press and hold the footswitch to mute the microphone signal for as long as the switch is held.
4. Release the switch to allow the mic signal to pass through again.
The MS311 can operate in two modes:
-Push to Mute (default): Signal passes through unless the switch is held.
-Push to Talk: Signal is muted unless the switch is held.
To switch between modes, adjust the internal mode selector switch, accessible through the side of the MS311.
