安定した場所に設置する
製品が倒れたり、搭載した機器が落下してけがをすることがありま
す。充分な強度がある水平な場所に設置してください。
運搬時には、接続ケーブルを取り外す
本機を運搬する際には、

重いものを載せない

Overview
The SBAC-T40 is an SxS memory card Reader/Writer, used to transmit data which
is recorded on an SxS memory card, using Thunderbolt 3 high speed transfer.
The unit is bus power drive compatible and can therefore be used without an AC
adapter.
Precautions on use
Use this unit with a computer that supports Thunderbolt 3.
The latest version of the Thunderbolt
TM
driver is necessary. Check the update
information for your computer.
The SxS driver needs to be installed on your computer. Download and install it
from the following link:

To disconnect the Thunderbolt 3 cable, never pull on the cable. Instead, firmly
grip it by its connector.
If the unit becomes dirty, clean it using a soft cloth. Never use benzine,
alcohol or thinner because these solvents will deform the unit and cause it to
malfunction.
Sony accepts absolutely no responsibility for problems in data recorded or
played if the SxS memory card is used incorrectly.
To prevent accidentally recording, deleting or editing of data recorded on
the SxS memory card, set the write protect switch of the SxS memory card to
“WP.”
Do not engage the write-protect switch while the SxS memory card inserted
into the unit. Depending on the computer OS, write-protect will not function
even if that switch is engaged.
Do not place this unit vertically.
The unit must be placed horizontally. If the unit used or placed vertically,
malfunction will occur.

CAUTION
When you connect the Thunderbolt 3 cable of the unit to peripheral device, use
the supplied cable to prevent malfunction due to radiation noise.
Connect the unit to the computer ( )
Securely connect the specified Thunderbolt 3 cable (supplied) to the

Thunderbolt 3 port of the unit.
Make sure that the Thunderbolt 3 cable is connected to the Thunderbolt
3 port. Otherwise, malfunction occurs.
Connect the specified Thunderbolt 3 cable to the Thunderbolt 3 port of

the computer.
Notes
The unit is recognized by inserting the SxS memory card to the unit.
Not all operations are guaranteed on all computers, even when running under
the recommended environment.
Install the SxS memory card ( )
Insert the SxS memory card into the unit.
Remove the SxS memory card from the computer
For Windows user
Select [Safely Remove Hardware] icon on the task tray.

The devices currently connected to the computer appear on the screen.
Select the icon of the SxS memory card.

Wait until the message “Safe to Remove Hardware” appears.

Remove the memory card.

For Mac user
Move the SxS memory card icon to the Trash icon.

Remove the memory card.

Note
Long time use may make the attached memory cards hot. Be careful when
removing them from the unit.
Troubleshooting

Disconnect the Thunderbolt 3 cable and
then reconnect it.
Cannot record or delete
data. Data was not recorded

The SxS memory card was removed before it

Remove the memory card according to
the steps described in “Remove the SxS
memory card from the computer.”
Write protect switch of SxS memory card is set
to “WP.”
Slide the write protect switch of your SxS
memory card to the unlocked position.

Le SBAC-T40 est un lecteur/éditeur pour carte mémoire SxS, utilisé pour la
transmission de données enregistrées sur une carte mémoire SxS au moyen

La SBAC-T40 es un grabador/lector de tarjetas de memoria SxS que permite
transmitir datos grabados en una tarjeta de memoria SxS, a través del protocolo
Thunderbolt 3 de alta velocidad. La unidad funciona con alimentación de bus y,
por tanto, puede usarse sin un adaptador de CA.
Precauciones de uso
Utilice esta unidad con un ordenador que sea compatible con Thunderbolt 3.
Es necesario tener instalada la última versión del controlador Thunderbolt
TM
.

Para desconectar el cable Thunderbolt 3, nunca tire del cable. En su lugar,

Der SBAC-T40 ist ein SxS-Speicherkarten-Lese-/Schreibgerät, der dazu dient, auf
einer SxS-Speicherkarte aufgezeichnete Daten mittels Thunderbolt 3
Hochgeschwindigkeitsdatenübertragung zu übermitteln. Das Gerät kann über
Busantrieb mit Strom versorgt werden und benötigt daher kein Netzteil.
