User Installation and Assembly Instructions

Hanging Pendant Speakers(SP30PT/SP30PTB)

•Ideal for installationswhere ceiling

or wall mounting is prohibitive

•Built-in 70/25V transformer

•Speaker includes hanging mount chain

Installation

A. Recommendedwiring:18 gauge copper wire (or heavier)

B. Note: Speaker wirealone is NOT sufficient for mounting.

Aseparate mounting wire, chain or cable (not included) MUST be used.

C.Useextremecareinmounting. Useawire,chainorcable(notincluded)capableofsupporting

at least 20 pounds of weight, and attach securely to overheard rafters or secure mount in ceiling.

D. Fasten endof wire, chain or cable securely to the topof the included tri-cable hangingmountchain.

E.Insert each of the three sections to the three built-in hooks on the speaker.

F.In installations where safety is an extremeconcern or where required by local jurisdiction,

an additional safety loop has been installed to the top of the speaker.

It is recommended touse this loop in all installations.

G.Speco Technologies assumes no liability for improperly installed speakers.
