PD-30 Series

High Efficiency 30-Watt Compression Drivers

General Description

Models PD-30, and PD-30T are fully environment-resistant for indoor or

outdoor application and are recommended for use in expansive and/or high-

ambient sound-level areas. Units have a power rating of 30 Watts, a 1.5"

voice coil and a plane wave frequency response of 300Hz–3.9kHz (±5dB).

Model PD-30 has a nominal impedance of 8. Transformer-equipped Ω

Model PD-30T incorporates the exclusive Atlas Sound Vari-Tap®Control/

Connect Center with a screwdriver selectable /Watts switch. This time Ω

saving configuration eliminates the soldering iron as an installation tool.

The integral 70.7V line matching transformer is varnish impregnated

for maximum environment-resistance and life expectancy. It also

includes a protective terminal cover with built-in strain relief to assure

secure cable connection.

Models PD-30, and PD-30T are terminated in standard 1

3⁄8"–18" thread

male couplings for use with screw-on horns, or with Atlas Sound Model

DA-FH adapter for bolt-on type horns. All Series Models feature die-cast

housing, finished in grey baked epoxy.
