HOW TO USE

This product is for household use only.

GETTING STARTED

• Remove all packing material, any stickers, and the plastic band around the power plug.

• Remove and save literature.

• Place toaster on a flat, level surface, where the top of the unit has enough space for the

heat to flow without damaging the cabinets or walls.

• Remove tie from cord and unwind. Cut the plastic band around the power plug.

• Plug unit into electrical outlet.

TOAST FUNCTION

1. Adjust the toast shade selector to the desired setting.

Note: When using for the first time, select setting 4. Readjust the setting to suit your

personal preference on successive toasting operations.

2. Place sliced bread or other foods into the slots and press the toast control lever down until

it locks into place. The bread guides will automatically adjust to hold the food in place.

3. When toasting is complete, the toast control lever will release and the unit will shut off.

CARE AND CLEANING

This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel.

CLEANING

Always unplug the cord from the electrical outlet and allow the toaster to cool before

cleaning. Do not immerse the toaster in water.

CRUMB TRAY

1. To open, pull the tray forward using the central finger slot on the tray and then pull

down.

2. Dispose of the crumbs and wash the crumb tray with a gentle detergent and damp

cloth. Dry thoroughly.

3. To put the tray back into place, lightly pull the tray forward using the slots on the tray

and push back in.

CLEANING OUTSIDE SURFACES

Important: The unit gets hot. Allow the toaster to cool completely before cleaning.

• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth or sponge and dry with a paper towel.

• Do not use strong cleaners or abrasives that may scratch surfaces and never spray cleaners

directly onto the toaster.

STORAGE

Use the cord wrap on the bottom of the toaster to minimize clutter on your counter and for

easy storage.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce

the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one

way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not

fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

ELECTRICAL CORD

1) A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming

entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO

Este aparato cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (un contacto es más ancho que

en un tomacorriente polarizada en un solo sentido. Si el enchufe no entra en el

CABLE ELÉCTRICO

1) Un cable de alimentación corto es provisto para reducir los riesgos de enredarse o

COMO USAR

Este producto es solamente para uso doméstico.

PRIMEROS PASOS

• Retiere todo material de empaque, etiquetas y la tira plástica alrededor del enchufe.

• Retire y guarde la literatura

• Coloque la tostadora sobre una superficie plana, de manera que la parte superior de

la unidad tenga suficiente espacio para que el calor fluya sin dañar los gabinetes o las

paredes.

• Retire la atadura del cable y desenrollelo y retire la tira plástica alrededor del enchufe.

• Enchufe el cable a un tomacorriente.

FUNCIÓN DE TOSTADO

Asegúrese de hacer sus selecciones para cada ranura inmediatamente depués de

presionar la palanca de control de tostado.

1. Ajuste el selector del grado de tostado al nivel deseado.

Nota: La primera vez que utilice la tostadora, seleccione el ajuste 4. En los usos siguientes,

reajuste la tostadora según su preferencia.

2. Coloque las rebanadas de pan u otros alimentos en las ranuras y empuje hacia abajo la

palanca de control de tostado hasta que quede encajada en su lugar. Las guías de pan se

ajustarán automáticamente para sujetar el alimento en su lugar.

3. Cuando termine el ciclo de tostado, la palanca de control se eleva y la unidad se apaga.

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA

Este producto no contiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas por el usuario. En caso de

requerir servicio, consulte al personal calificado.

LIMPIEZA

Siempre desenchufe cable del tomacorriente y deje que la tostadora se enfríe antes de

limpiarla. No sumerja la tostadora en agua.

BANDEJA PARA MIGAS

1. Para abrir, hale la bandeja hacia adelante, utilizando la ranura central para los dedos y

luego hale hacia abajo.

2. Deseche las migajas y lave la bandeja con detergente suave y un paño húmedo. Séquela

bien.

3. Para colocar la bandeja de nuevo en su lugar, tire suavemente de la bandeja llevandola

hacia el frente, utilizando las ranuras en la bandeja y empújela en su lugar.

LIMPIEZA DE LAS SUPERFICIES EXTERIORES

Importante: La unidad se calienta. Espere a que se enfríe por completo antes de

limpiarla.

• Limpie el exterior con una esponja o paño húmedo y séquelo con papel toalla.

• No utilice limpiadores o abrasivos fuertes que puedan rayar las superficies y nunca rocíe

limpiadores directamente sobre la tostadora.

ALMACENAMIENTO

Utilice el guardacable situado debajo de la tostadora para almacenar el cable con facilidad

y mantener su mostrador ordenado.
