Instruction Manual
This product has a wireless speaker and a light integrated into the main unit.
You can enjoy music by connecting devices that support Bluetooth, such as a
smartphone or tablet.
Carefully read this document and the “Operating precautions” before using the
product.

Charging
Be sure to charge the product for at least 1 hour before using it for the first time.

Connect the USB Type-C side of the Charger cable provided to the
charger connector (10) on the main unit

Connect the USB Type-A side of the Charger cable provided to a
USB compatible AC adapter
Use a sold separately USB compatible AC adapter. Use a regulation compliant
USB compatible AC adapter that has 5-V and 2-A output.

To charge, connect the USB compatible AC adapter to an electric
outlet
The status lamp (5) lights orange during charging. It turns off when charging is
complete.
After charging is complete, remove the Charger cable from the main unit.
Hint
•When the battery is low, the status lamp (5) turns purple. The power will turn off
automatically in a short while.
•If charging does not start, unplug and then plug in the Charger cable to start charging
again.
Using the Speaker
Turning the power on/off

Press and hold, for at least 1 second, the speaker’s power button

The status lamp (5) lights blue when the power turns on, and a sound indicates
the power has turned on.
The status lamp (5) turns off when the power turns off, and a sound indicates
the power has turned off.
Connecting a Bluetooth
®
device

Turn the power on
Shortly after the power is turned on, the product automatically enters Bluetooth
pairing mode, and the status lamp (5) flashes blue.
Hint
If you want to enter pairing mode to disconnect a device that is already connected by
Bluetooth, press the speaker’s power button (6) once. Disconnect the connection and enter
pairing mode.

On the Bluetooth device, select “Canon Light & Speaker ML-A”
When the main unit and Bluetooth device are connected, the status lamp (5)
lights blue.
Hint
If connection is not possible, turn the power off, and try again from “Turn the power on”.
The power turns off automatically after 3 minutes of continuously
waiting to connect to a Bluetooth device.
Caution
Listening to music
Refer to “Connecting a Bluetooth device”, to connect the Bluetooth device in
advance.
Playing music on the Bluetooth device plays the music from the main unit.
Adjusting the volume
Press the <
> (7) or < > (9) volume button.
Adjusting the volume on the volume button on the main unit is independent
from the volume adjustment function of the Bluetooth device.
Hint
If the sound cuts off or there is static noise, there could be radio wave interference. Change
the installation location of the main unit or move the Bluetooth device closer to the main unit.
Playing/pausing
Press the <
> (8) button.
While playing, press it 1 time to pause play. While paused, press it 1 time to
start play.
Using the light
Turning the light on/off
Press and hold, for at least 1 second, the light’s power button < > (3)
When the power is turned on, the light lights with the brightness and color used
previously.
Selecting the brightness and color of the light
Each time the power button < > (3) is pressed while the light is on changes
the light’s brightness and color.

Hint
The brightness of the light varies during charging and not charging.
Changing the angle of the light
The light can be moved within the following range.
Light: +180 degrees, -90 degrees
Arm: ±25 degrees
Base: 360 degrees
Lecture/pause

À propos du voyant d’état
Si le voyant d’état clignote rapidement en violet, l’unité principale présente
un dysfonctionnement. Débranchez le câble du chargeur et contactez notre
service d’assistance.
À propos du chargement de l’unité principale
Si le produit ne se met pas sous tension ou s’il ne peut pas être utilisé pendant
une longue période, connectez correctement le câble du chargeur (USB Type
A vers Type C) et l’adaptateur secteur USB (disponible dans le commerce) à
une prise électrique, et chargez le produit pendant plus d’une heure avant de le
mettre sous tension.
La charge ne peut pas se faire, sauf dans certains cas, en se connectant à la
borne USB d’un PC ou d’une batterie mobile.
À propos de la fonction de mise hors tension automatique de l’unité
principale
Dans les situations suivantes, l’alimentation s’éteint automatiquement, mais il

Opladen

Sluit de USB-compatibele wisselstroomadapter aan op een

Het statuslampje (5) brandt tijdens het opladen oranje. Het gaat uit wanneer het
opladen is voltooid.
Nadat het opladen is voltooid, verwijdert u de laadkabel uit de hoofdeenheid.
Hint
•Als de batterij bijna leeg is, wordt het statuslampje (5) paars. De stroom wordt na korte
tijd automatisch uitgeschakeld.
•Als het opladen niet start, trek dan de laadkabel uit het stopcontact en steek deze weer
in om het opladen opnieuw te starten.

Het statuslampje (5) brandt blauw wanneer de stroom wordt ingeschakeld en

Schakel de stroom in
Kort nadat de stroom wordt ingeschakeld, gaat het product automatisch naar
de Bluetooth-koppelingsmodus en knippert het statuslampje (5) blauw.
Hint
Als u naar de koppelingsmodus wilt gaan om de verbinding met een apparaat dat al via
Bluetooth is verbonden te verbreken, drukt u eenmaal op de aan/uit-knop van de luidspreker
(6). Verbreek de verbinding en ga naar de koppelingsmodus.

Selecteer op het Bluetooth-apparaat “Canon Light & Speaker
ML-A”
Wanneer de hoofdeenheid en het Bluetooth-apparaat zijn verbonden, licht het
statuslampje (5) blauw op.
Hint
Als verbinding niet mogelijk is, schakelt u de stroom uit en probeert u opnieuw vanaf
„Schakel de stroom in”.
De stroom wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld na 3 minuten onafgebroken
wachten om verbinding te maken met een Bluetooth-apparaat.

Troubleshooting
About the status lamp
If the status lamp is rapidly flashing purple, the main unit has malfunctioned.
Unplug the Charger cable and contact our helpdesk.
About charging the main unit
If the product’s power does not turn on or it cannot be used for a long period
of time, securely connect the Charger cable (USB Type-A to Type-C) and the
USB AC adapter (commercially available) to an electric outlet, and charge the
product for more than 1 hour before turning on the power.
Charging cannot be done, except in some cases, by connecting to the USB
terminal of a PC or mobile battery.
About the auto-power-off function of the main unit
In the following situations, the power automatically turns off, but this is not a
malfunction.
Speaker
Waiting continuously for 3 minutes to pair with a Bluetooth device
Light
Remaining continuously lit for 8 hours
Resetting the main unit
If the main unit does not operate normally, resetting the main unit may eliminate
the problem. To reset the main unit, press <
> and < > at the same time.
Press the power button for at least 1 second to turn on the main unit’s power.

Hinweis
Wenn der Ton abgeschnitten wird oder statisches Rauschen vorhanden ist, können
Funkwellenstörungen vorhanden sein. Ändern Sie den Installationsort des Hauptgeräts
oder bringen Sie das Bluetooth-Gerät näher ans Hauptgerät.
Wiedergabe/Pause
Drücken Sie die Taste <

Fehlerbehebung
Statuslampe
Wenn die Statuslampe schnell violett blinkt, ist das Hauptgerät defekt. Ziehen
Sie das Ladegerätkabel heraus und wenden Sie sich an unseren Helpdesk.
Laden des Hauptgeräts
Wenn sich das Gerät nicht einschalten lässt oder es längere Zeit nicht
verwendet werden kann, schließen Sie das Ladekabel (USB-Typ-A bis Typ-C)
und das USB-Netzteil (im Handel erhältlich) an eine Steckdose an und laden
Sie das Produkt vor dem Einschalten für mehr als 1 Stunde auf.
Das Gerät kann, mit Ausnahme einiger Fälle, nicht durch Anschließen an den
USB-Anschluss eines PCs oder mobilen Akkus geladen werden.
Automatische Abschaltfunktion des Hauptgeräts
In den folgenden Situationen schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch aus, wobei
es sich nicht um eine Fehlfunktion handelt.

Connectez le côté USB Type C du câble du chargeur fourni au

Utilisez un adaptateur secteur compatible USB vendu séparément. Utilisez un
adaptateur secteur compatible USB conforme à la réglementation doté d’une

Pour charger, connectez l’adaptateur secteur compatible USB à
une prise électrique
Le voyant d’état (5) s’allume en orange pendant la charge. Il s’éteint lorsque la
charge est terminée.
Une fois la charge terminée, retirez le câble du chargeur de l’unité principale.
Astuce
•Lorsque la batterie est faible, le voyant d’état (5) devient violet. L’appareil s’éteindra
automatiquement après un court instant.
•Si la charge ne démarre pas, débranchez puis rebranchez le câble du chargeur pour
recommencer la charge.
Utilisation du haut-parleur
Mise sous/hors tension

Maintenez enfoncé pendant au moins 1 seconde la touche
d’alimentation du haut-parleur <

Le voyant d’état (5) s’allume en bleu lorsque l’appareil est sous tension et un
son indique que l’appareil est sous tension.
Le voyant d’état (5) s’éteint lorsque l’appareil est hors tension et un son indique
que l’appareil est hors tension.
Connexion d’un dispositif Bluetooth
®

Mise sous tension
Peu de temps après la mise sous tension, le produit passe automatiquement en
mode d’appairage Bluetooth et le voyant d’état (5) clignote en bleu.
Astuce
Si vous souhaitez entrer en mode d’appairage pour déconnecter un appareil déjà
connecté par Bluetooth, appuyez une fois sur la touche d’alimentation du haut-parleur (6).
Déconnectez la connexion et passez en mode appairage.

Sur le dispositif Bluetooth, sélectionnez « Canon Light & Speaker
ML-A »
Lorsque l’unité principale et le dispositif Bluetooth sont connectés, le voyant
d’état (5) s’allume en bleu.
Astuce
Si la connexion n’est pas possible, mettez l’appareil hors tension et réessayez à partir de
« Mise sous tension ».
L'alimentation s'éteint automatiquement après 3 minutes d'attente
continue pour se connecter à un dispositif Bluetooth.
Attention
Écouter de la musique
Reportez-vous à la section « Connexion d’un dispositif Bluetooth » pour
connecter le dispositif Bluetooth à l’avance.
La lecture de musique sur le dispositif Bluetooth permet de lire la musique
depuis l’unité principale.
Réglage du volume
Appuyez sur la touche de volume <
> (7) ou < > (9).
Le réglage du volume sur la touche de volume de l’unité principale est
indépendant de la fonction de réglage du volume du dispositif Bluetooth.

Si le son est coupé ou s’il y a du bruit statique, des interférences d’ondes radio peuvent
