Symbol meanings
The batteries are low and need to be replaced.
Wood moisture measurement mode is selected.
In this mode you can measure themoisture level of
sawn timber, paper or cardboard.
Building material moisture measurement mode is
selected. In this mode you can measure themoisture
level of hardened building material (mortar, concrete
or plaster).

Use
1. Press thebutton to turn themoisture meter on.
2. Select desired mode.
3. When thedevice is on, press and hold in thebutton for
3 seconds to enter thesettings mode (the symbol will
then start to flash in thedisplay).
4. When thesymbol starts to flash in thedisplay, hold
in thebutton until thedesired mode is indicated by
thecorresponding symbol in thedisplay. There are four
measurement modes (wood, building material, Celsius
and Fahrenheit).
5. When themode has been selected, wait 3 seconds.
The meter will now automatically exit thesettings mode
and is ready to use.
Measuring
•The current temperature can be read directly from
the display.
•To measure moisture, press theprobes against
thematerial to be measured. The percentage moisture
will appear in thedisplay.
Automatic shut-off
•The meter will shut itself off after 15 seconds (if it is not
being used).
•If thelow battery symbol appears, change thebatteries.
Make sure to insert thebatteries according to thepolarity
markings in thebattery compartment.
•The meter will automatically shut itself off after 15 seconds

Backlight
The backlight goes out after 3 seconds.
Care and maintenance
•Keep theinstrument dry.
•Make sure that theprobes are clean.
•Keep theinstrument and batteries out of reach of children.
•Remove thebatteries if theinstrument is not to be used
for along time.
