Description
Battery charger intended for 9 V Ni-MH/ Ni-Cd
batteries, with timer to prevent overcharging.
Safety
• Thecharger is intended only for use with
Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries. Attempting to
charge adifferent type of battery can lead
to person injury or damage to thecharger.
• Intended for indoor useonly.
• Disconnect thebattery charger from
thepower outlet when not inuse.
• Do not expose charger to humidity, sharp
blows, and shock or high temperatures.
• Do not operate thebattery charger if
theplug appears to be damaged.
• Do not open thecover. Certain components
under thecover contain dangerous electric
currents. Contact with those components
can result in electricshock.
• Thebattery charger may only be repaired
by qualified service personnel.
• Disconnect theplug from thepower outlet
before cleaning. Donot immerse charger
inwater. Cleantheexternal parts by wiping
with adampcloth.
Use
Note!
• Do not charge more than one type of
battery at thesame time (Ni-Cd or Ni-MH).
• Make sure you disconnect theplug from
thepower outlet before you connect anew
battery for charging.
1. Attach thebatteries (1–2 9 V batteries)
to theproper position in thecharger.
Makesure that thebattery poles are
placed in thecorrect way according to
themarkings on thecharger.
2. Connect theplug to a230 V power outlet.
Whenthebatteries are charging, theLEDs
will turnred.
3. Check thechargingtime. Seetablebelow.
Whenthecharging cycle is complete,
disconnect theplug from thepower outlet
and remove thebatteries from thecharger
as soon as possible.
After 8 hours of charging, thecharger switches
automatically to conservation charging and
theLEDs turnoff.
