Die EX46012 ist eine seriell RS232 PCIExpress Karte. Sie ist mit zwei seriellen FIFO 16C550 ---

Anschlüsse für den Anschluss von HighSpeed seriellen RS232 Peripherie Geräten (z.B. --

Modem, Plotter, Drucker, Scanner usw.) ausgestattet. Die EX46012 unterstützt alle PCI--

Express Slots von p1-x1 bis x16. Der serielle PCIExpress Bus unterstützt optimal die Leistung des -

schnellen ASIX Chipsatz. Die Karte gewährleistet so eine sichere Datenübertragung und exzel-

lente Performance von bis zu 115KBaud/s für jedes angeschlossene serielle Gerät! Es ist nicht

möglich die I/O Adressen und Interrupts manuell einzustellen, da die Einstellungen der Karte

vom System (BIOS) und beim installieren des Betriebssystems automatisch vorgenommen

werden.

Please note the following installation instructions. Because there are large differences between the

PC’s, we can give you only a general installation instructions for the EX-46012. Please refer your

computer’s reference manual whenever in doubt.

1.Turn off the power to your computer and any other connected peripherals.

2.Remove the mounting screws located at the rear and/or sides panels of your Computer and

gently slide the cover off.

3.Locate an available PCI-Express expansion slot and insert the card. Make sure that the card

is plugged in correctly.

4.Then attach the card with a screw to the rear panel of the computer.

5.Gently replace your computer’s cover and the mounting screws.

After the hardware installation is completed, the operating system automatically detects the EX-

46012 and shows you a new . First, please download the driver from „“Serial PCIPort-

www.exsys.de or www.exsys.ch. The driver is available for your product under Downloads“”.

Open now the folder .Now select the folder of your operating system and „“IO_ASIX_AZ99100

start the application which is located in the respective folder(see picture). „“ AX99100_Setup
