Great for hanging applications, OSD Audio’s series of pendant speakers are as unique in style
as they are in function. Available in black or white, the Shere6 pendant speaker includes a 6.5
woofer, 1-inch tweeter and high-power-handling capability for audiophile sound quality, making
this speaker ideally suitable for open space environments such as malls, airports, or any indoor
space with high vaulted ceilings. Fashioned after modern lighting xtures, the Sphere6 pendant
includes a 140-degree wide-dispersion coaxial driver for even coverage as well as a low-
resonance cabinet structure.
Using hanging pendant speakers allows you to position the speakers much closer to the listener
and consequently they can be played at much lower levels, creating, as it were, a dome of
localized sound. This can be particularly useful in bars and restaurants where communication
with the staff is critical, and at home where an intimate environment is desired.
