1) Prior to requesting repair, please check the following:
Capacity of the built-in battery, polarity of installation and discontinuity
of the test leads.
2) Repair during the warranty period:
The failed meter will be repaired in accordance with the conditions
stipulated in 7-1 Warranty and Provision.
3) Repair after the warranty period has expired:
In some cases, repair and transportation cost may become higher than
provider in advance. The minimum retention period of service functional
parts
is 6 years after the discontinuation of manufacture. This retention period
is the repair warranty period. Please note, however, if such functional parts
become unavailable for reasons of discontinuation of manufacture, etc.,
the retention period may
become shorter accordingly.
4) Precautions when sending the product to be repaired
To ensure the safety of the product during transportation, place the product in a box
that is larger than the product 5 times or more in volume and ll cushion materials
fully and then clearly mark “Repair Product Enclosedon the box surface. The cost
of sending and returning the product shall be borne by the customer.

1-2 Warning Instruction for Safe Use
To prevent injuries such as burns or electric shocks, ensure strict compliance
with the following instructions when using this instrument:
1.
Do not input signals exceeding the maximum rated input value (see 1-3).
2 t . Do not use the instrument to measure lines connected to equipmen

AC voltage is regulated by rms, value of sinusoidal wave.
1) Applications
The quality of diodes is tested.
2) How to use
ΩSet the FUNCTION switch to / / or .
Select by pressing the SELECT button.
Apply the red and black test pins to the object to be measured.
Conrm that a voltage drop is displayed in the forward direction test.
Conrm that ‘OL’ is displayed in the reverse direction test.
・ The input terminals open voltage is about 3.0 V
Note: If both and are conrmed, the diode is functioning normally.
1) Measurement procedure
Set the FUNCTION switch to Ω/ / or .
Apply the red and black test pins to the object to be measured.
Note :
If noise affects the measurement, shield the object being measured
with the COM potential. Additionally, if ngers come into contact
・
Resistance measurements cannot be performed on parts where
voltage is applied.
5-4 Testing Diode ( )
Never apply external voltage to the measurement terminals.
WARNING
1) Measurement procedure
Set the FUNCTION switch to “V” and use the SELECT button to choose
either DC or AC.
Apply the red and black test pins to the circuit to be measured.
The voltage reading will be displayed.
Fluctuations in the display when the test leads are disconnected are
normal and do not indicate a malfunction.
This device uses the True RMS method for AC wave detection, enabling it to
measure the root mean square values of both sine and non-sine waveforms.
(Accuracy is guaranteed for sine waves in the frequency range of 40 Hz to 400 Hz.)
In the 6.000 V AC range, a residual reading of approximately 3 to 9
counts may remain when the input is 0.
In the 600.0 V AC/DC range, whether set to auto or manual, an alarm
buzzer will sound if the measured value exceeds 600.0 V.
5-3 Resistance (Ω) Measurement
Never apply external voltage to the input terminals.
WARNING
5 MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE
1.
Never apply an input signal exceeding the maximum rating input value
of each function.
2. Do not turn the FUNCTION switch during measurement.
3.
Always keep your ngers behind the nger guards on the probe during
measurement.
4.
After measurement, release the test leads from the object measured
and set the FUNCTION switch to the OFF position.
WARNING
5-1 Start-up Inspection
1.
When the POWER switch is turned ON, conrm that the low battery warning
is not blinking or lit on the display. If it is, replace the battery with a new one.
2.
Do not use the device if the main body or test leads are damaged or broken.
3. Make sure that the test leads and fuse are not disconnected or blown.
WARNING
Note: If the display shows nothing, the battery may be completely drained.

6-1 Maintenance and inspection
1) Appearance
・ Is the appearance not damaged by falling?
2) Test leads
・ Is the cord of the test leads not damaged?
・ Is the core wire not exposed at any place of the test leads?
NoteIf any of the above conditions apply, do not use the instrument.
Send it for repair or replace it with a new one. Also refer to section
5-1 to ensure that the test leads are intact and not damaged.
Note
6-2 Calibration
The manufacturer may conduct the calibration and inspection. Fo r
more information, please contact the dealers.
6-3 Battery and Fuse Replacement
1.

function
Max. rated input Measurement range
Even after the power is automatically turned off, a small amount of
power will still be consumed. Therefore, if the device will not be used for
an extended period, set the FUNCTION switch back to the OFF position.
To disable this function, press and hold the SELECT button while turning
the FUNCTION switch to the ON position. The display will show ‘dAPo’
for 2 seconds, and the clock icon will turn off.
with the test pins during measurement, errors may occur due to
the inuence of body resistance. The open voltage between the
input terminals is approximately 0.5 V.
1) Detection objective
To determine the presence or absence of voltage in AC voltage wiring.
2) Detection range
Sine wave AC voltage of 90 V or higher, at 50/60 Hz.
3) How to use this function
Bring the mark located at the upper-left corner of the device EF
close to or in contact with the target object for detection.
When voltage is detected, a “-” symbol will be displayed, and the buzzer will
sound on the ungrounded (hot) side.
The higher the detected voltage, the more ” symbols appear on the display
(up to 4), and the buzzer’s intermittent beeping will increase.
Notes:
In cases where the wiring is long, detection may also occur on the grounded side.
Depending on ambient conditions, the device may activate even when the
EF mark is not brought close to the target object.
