Kuva 3: Ota ensin ulompi tukinauha ja laita se ulkoa päin jalanterän ympärille ja
vedä tarranauha kiinni.
Kuva 4: Laita sen jälkeen sisäpuolella oleva tukinauha jalanterän ympärille
nilkan suuntaan ja sulje tarranauha.
Uloskierto vähenee sitä enemmän, mitä kireämmällä ulompi tukinauha on.

Kuva 5: Ota ensin sisempi tukinauha ja laita se sisältä ulospäin jalkaterän
ympärille ja vedä tarranauha kiinni.

nilkan sisäpuolen suuntaan ja sulje tarranauha.

Applying the brace
To reduce the tendency towards supination (an outward rolling of the foot)
and pronation (an inward rolling of the foot)
Image 1: Place your heel on the heel ring
Image 2: First close the bottom and then the top Velcro fastener
With a tendency towards supination
Image 3: First take the outer stabilisation strap and pull it from the outside
inwards across the arch of the foot (instep) and close the Velcro fastener,
stretching it slightly.
Image 4: Then pull the inner stabilisation strap across the arch of the foot
towards the ankle and close the Velcro fastener. The tighter the stabilisation
strap is pulled, the more supination is reduced.
With a tendency towards pronation
Image 5: First take the inner stabilisation strap and pull it from the inside
outwards across the arch of the foot (instep) and close the Velcro fastener,
stretching it slightly.
Image 6: Then pull the outer stabilisation strap across the arch of the foot
towards the inside of the ankle and close the Velcro fastener. The tighter the
stabilisation strap is pulled, the more pronation is reduced.
