travelandstorageprotectionforthe3SeriesMDOinstruments

(MDO32,MDO34).Thecaseprotectsinstrumentsfrom

shock,vibration,andmoisture.Thecasealsohasroomforthe

accessoriespouch(forprobes,adapters,andmanuals).

controlvalveforuseduringairtransport,securityringsforuse

Tektronixwarrantsthattheproductwillbefreefromdefects

inmaterialsandworkmanshipforaperiodofthree(3)months

fromthedateoforiginalpurchasefromanauthorizedTektronix

distributor.Iftheproductprovesdefectiveduringthiswarranty

period,Tektronix,atitsoption,eitherwillrepairthedefective

productwithoutchargeforpartsandlabor,orwillprovidea

replacementinexchangeforthedefectiveproduct.Batteriesare

excludedfromthiswarranty.Parts,modulesandreplacement

productsusedbyTektronixforwarrantyworkmaybenewor

reconditionedtolikenewperformance.Allreplacedparts,

modulesandproductsbecomethepropertyofTektronix.

Inordertoobtainserviceunderthiswarranty,Customer

mustnotifyTektronixofthedefectbeforetheexpirationof

thewarrantyperiodandmakesuitablearrangementsforthe

performanceofservice.Customershallberesponsiblefor

packagingandshippingthedefectiveproducttotheservice

centerdesignatedbyTektronix,shippingchargesprepaid,and

withacopyofcustomerproofofpurchase.Tektronixshallpay

forthereturnoftheproducttoCustomeriftheshipmentisto

alocationwithinthecountryinwhichtheTektronixservice

centerislocated.Customershallberesponsibleforpaying

allshippingcharges,duties,taxes,andanyotherchargesfor

productsreturnedtoanyotherlocations.

Thiswarrantyshallnotapplytoanydefect,failureordamage

causedbyimproperuseorimproperorinadequatemaintenance

andcare.Tektronixshallnotbeobligatedtofurnishservice

underthiswarrantya)torepairdamageresultingfromattempts

bypersonnelotherthanTektronixrepresentativestoinstall,

repairorservicetheproduct;b)torepairdamageresulting

fromimproperuseorconnectiontoincompatibleequipment;

c)torepairanydamageormalfunctioncausedbytheuseof

non-Tektronixsupplies;ord)toserviceaproductthathasbeen

modifiedorintegratedwithotherproductswhentheeffectof

suchmodificationorintegrationincreasesthetimeordifficulty
