• Never touch a device that has fallen into
water. Unplug the device from the mains
outlet immediately.

the device.

the device and marked on the label.
• This device is not intended to be used by
person (including children) with mental,
sensory or physical handicaps or person with
lack of experience and/or knowledge to use
this device. For their safety is it is necessary
to keep close supervision and give them clear
instructions when they are using the device.
• Do not use this device on helpless persons,
small children or persons insensitive to heat.
• It is not allowed to use the device If you are
fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, implant or
other aid. Individuals with pacemaker should
consult their doctor before use.
• Carefully check the device before each use.

Warning, risks of fire
• Do not activate the device when it is still packed
in the box. Extensive heat can occur and cause
fire.
• Do not place the device under inflammable
objects, especially not under paper or curtains.
This product complies with conformity requirements of the
applicable European regulations or directives.
In a double-insulated appliance, two insulation systems are
provided instead of an earth wire. No earthing means is provided on a
double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for earthing be added to
the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme
care and knowledge of the system, and should only be done by qualified
service personnel. The replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance
must be identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance is
labelled with the words 'CLASS II' or 'DOUBLE INSULATED". It can also

INFORMATION ABOUT THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL
This instruction manual is part of the Electric Foot Warmer PD-8977E
(hereinafter referred to as "the device"). It contains important information
about setting up the device, safety aspects and correct use.
The instruction manual must always be kept close by the device. It must
be read and followed by anyone responsible for operating the device,
resolving faults and/or cleaning it.
Keep this instruction manual safely and if you sell the device please give it
to the next owner.
INSTALLATION
Ensure there is a mains supply is nearby and that when in use, the mains
lead will not be in a position that could cause people to trip over it. When
plugged into the mains supply, the controller must be within easy reach of
the user.
USING THE FOOT WARMER
• Press “ON/OFF” key for 3 seconds to start up. Please set preheating at
the highest tap “6” position 10 minutes before using.
• When it is started up initially, the temperature display is 3. Press Temp
key and the temperature tap position among 1.2.3.4.5.6. 1 being low
level and 6 being high level. When using it, select the appropriate tap
position according to human body’s feeling, if you will use it for a long
time, please set at “1” tap position which is the lowest position so as to
avoid overheating which may cause human body’s discomfort.
• Automatic shut off function that turns the controller off after 90 minutes.
• Press “ON/OFF” key for 3 seconds to shut off when you stop to use it.
Note
• If display shows “P”, please check whether the coupler of the product
has been connected firmly or not, then restart it. If the fault cannot be
removed, it means the internal connection of the product has problems.
Please contact the after sales service.
• If display shows “E”, it means the product has been used while folded or
crumpled and it has overheated. As a safety measure, the heated pad
has turned off. Turn the controller off, unplug the foot warmer, lay it down
completely flat and leave to cool down.
After use
When the foot warmer is not in use, please switch the controller to the off
position; remove the plug from the power socket. If the foot warmer is not
to be used for a long period of time, store the foot warmer in a cool and dry
place.
If you want to stop using the foot warmer, press the on/off switch to switch
the foot warmer off and remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
Always pull on the plug, not on the mains cord.

Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and the connection plug from
the connection socket on the device before cleaning the foot warmer.
To clean the foot warmer, wipe it down with a soft damp cloth with very
mild detergent. Allow it to dry thoroughly before using or storing it.
Machine washing of the removable cover is possible; To machine wash,
place the removable cover in a net bag and seal it. Use a small amount of
detergent and set the washing machine to a “Delicate Wash/mild process”
with a maximum temperature of 40⁰C. When washed, remove the
removable cover from the net bag and drape it over a clothes line to dry.
Neither control unit nor mains cord must come into contact with moisture,
water or any other liquid, as there is otherwise a danger of electric shock.
In addition, the foot warmer itself must not be moist during use. Only use it
when it is dry – never when damp!
Let the foot warmer cool down before folding it up!
Do not place any heavy objects on the foot warmer!
The foot warmer must not be creased!
Always store the foot warmer in a cool, dry place where it is protected from
other sources of heat.
Warning
• Don't use any mothproofing agent like naphthalene, which will damage
the insulation material.
• Do not try to repair a fuse link or thermal link. The appliance must be
returned to the manufacturer or his agent if the link has ruptured.
• Examine the device frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are
such signs or if the device has been misused, return it to the supplier
prior to any further use.
• Avoid creasing the appliance.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
ENVIRONMENT
The crossed out wheelie bin symbol means that this product shall
not be disposed of with normal household waste. Electronic and Electrical
Equipment not included in the selective sorting process are potentially
dangerous for the environment and human health due to the presence of
hazardous substances. Please dispose of responsibly at an approved
waste or recycling facility.

Opmerking
• Controleer of de op het typeplaatje vermelde
voedingsspanning overeenkomt met uw
netspanning.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als er zichtbare
schade is.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het niet goed
werkt, gevallen of beschadigd is.
• Reparaties aan elektrische apparaten mogen
alleen door gekwalificeerde personen worden
uitgevoerd. Onjuiste reparaties kunnen leiden
tot aanzienlijke gevaren voor de gebruiker. Voor
reparaties kunt u contact opnemen met onze
klantenservice of een erkende dealer.
• Haal dit apparaat niet uit elkaar. Het bevat geen
onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen
worden gerepareerd.
• Steek geen voorwerpen in openingen.
• Plaats het apparaat niet in een vochtige ruimte
en niet op een afstand van minder dan 1,5 m
van een waterbron. Gebruik het apparaat niet te
lang. Veelvuldig gebruik kan leiden tot een
kortere levensduur.
• Draag, trek of draai het apparaat nooit aan het
netsnoer en laat het snoer niet in de knoop
raken.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit tijdens onweer.
• Houd het netsnoer uit de buurt van hete
oppervlakken.
• Raak nooit een apparaat aan dat in het water is
gevallen. Haal onmiddellijk de stekker uit het
stopcontact.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het nat is.
• Buitenschoenen moeten worden uitgetrokken
voordat u het apparaat gebruikt.

• Gebruik alleen de met het apparaat
meegeleverde en op het etiket aangegeven
afstandsbediening.
• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door
personen (inclusief kinderen) met mentale,
zintuiglijke of fysieke handicaps of personen
met een gebrek aan ervaring en/of kennis om
dit apparaat te gebruiken. Voor hun veiligheid is
het noodzakelijk nauwlettend toezicht te houden
en hen duidelijke instructies te geven wanneer
zij het apparaat gebruiken.
• Gebruik dit apparaat niet op hulpeloze
personen, kleine kinderen of personen die
ongevoelig zijn voor warmte.
• Het is niet toegestaan het apparaat te gebruiken
als u voorzien bent van een pacemaker,
implantaat of ander hulpmiddel. Personen met
een pacemaker dienen voor gebruik hun arts te
raadplegen.
• Controleer het apparaat zorgvuldig voor elk
gebruik.
• Vouw of kreukel het apparaat niet tijdens het
gebruik voordat u het aansluit op uw
stopcontact.
• Prik niet in het apparaat en bevestig geen
veiligheidsspelden of andere stekelige of
scherpe voorwerpen aan het apparaat.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet bij kinderen of
personen die gehandicapt zijn, slapen of
ongevoelig zijn voor warmte.
• Gebruik het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht.
• Ga niet op het apparaat zitten.
• Als u zich zorgen maakt over uw gezondheid,
raadpleeg dan uw arts voordat u het apparaat
gebruikt.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet om dieren te
verwarmen.
• Niet gebruiken in combinatie met andere
verwarmingstoestellen

INFORMATIE OVER DEZE GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING
Deze gebruiksaanwijzing hoort bij de elektrische voetenwarmer PD-8977E
(hierna "het apparaat" genoemd). Het bevat belangrijke informatie over het
instellen van het apparaat, veiligheidsaspecten en correct gebruik.
De gebruiksaanwijzing moet altijd in de buurt van het apparaat worden
bewaard. Het moet worden gelezen en opgevolgd door iedereen die
verantwoordelijk is voor de bediening van het apparaat, het oplossen van
storingen en/of de reiniging ervan.
Bewaar deze gebruiksaanwijzing goed en geef hem bij verkoop aan de
volgende eigenaar.
INSTALLATIE
Zorg ervoor dat er een stopcontact in de buurt is en dat het netsnoer zich
bij gebruik niet op een zodanige plaats bevindt dat mensen erover kunnen
struikelen. Wanneer het apparaat op het lichtnet is aangesloten, moet de
afstandsbediening binnen handbereik van de gebruiker zijn.
GEBRUIK VAN DE VOETENWARMER
• Druk gedurende 3 seconden op de "AAN/UIT" toets om op te starten.
Stel de voorverwarming 10 minuten voor gebruik in op de hoogste stand
"6".
• Bij het opstarten is de temperatuurweergave 3. Druk op de Temp-toets
en de temperatuurpositie tussen 1.2.3.4.5.6. Waarbij 1 laag niveau is en
6 hoog niveau. Als u het apparaat lange tijd gebruikt, stel dan de
tapstand in op "1", de laagste stand, om oververhitting te voorkomen, wat
ongemak voor het menselijk lichaam kan veroorzaken.
• Automatische uitschakelfunctie die de afstandsbediening na 90 minuten
uitschakelt.
• Druk gedurende 3 seconden op de "AAN/UIT" toets om het apparaat uit
te schakelen wanneer u het niet meer gebruikt.
Opmerking
• Als het display "P" toont, controleer dan of de koppeling van het product
goed is aangesloten en start het opnieuw op. Als de storing niet kan
worden verholpen, betekent dit dat er problemen zijn met de interne
verbinding van het product. Neem contact op met onze Aftersales-
service.
• Als het display "E" aangeeft, betekent dit dat het product opgevouwen of
verfrommeld is gebruikt en oververhit is geraakt. Als
veiligheidsmaatregel is de verwarmde pas uitgeschakeld. Zet de
afstandsbediening uit, haal de stekker uit het stopcontact, leg hem
helemaal plat neer en laat hem afkoelen.
Na gebruik
Wanneer de voetenwarmer niet in gebruik is, schakelt u de
afstandsbediening uit en haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact. Bewaar de
voetenwarmer op een koele en droge plaats als hij lange tijd niet wordt
gebruikt.
Als u de voetenwarmer niet meer wilt gebruiken, drukt u op de aan/uit-
schakelaar om de voetenwarmer uit te schakelen en haalt u de stekker uit
het stopcontact. Trek altijd aan de stekker, niet aan het netsnoer.

Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en de aansluitstekker uit de aansluiting
op het apparaat voordat u de voetenwarmer reinigt.
Om de voetenwarmer schoon te maken, neemt u hem af met een zachte
vochtige doek met een zeer mild schoonmaakmiddel. Laat het goed
drogen voordat u het gebruikt of opbergt.
De afneembare hoes kan in de machine worden gewassen; doe de
afneembare hoes in een netzak en sluit deze af. Gebruik een kleine
hoeveelheid wasmiddel en stel de wasmachine in op "Fijne was/mild
proces" met een maximale temperatuur van 40⁰C. Verwijder na het
wassen de afneembare hoes van de netzak en hang hem aan de waslijn
te drogen.
De afstandsbediening en het netsnoer mogen niet in contact komen met
vocht, water of een andere vloeistof, omdat er anders gevaar voor
elektrische schokken bestaat. Bovendien mag de voetenwarmer zelf
tijdens het gebruik niet vochtig zijn. Gebruik het alleen als het droog is -
nooit als het vochtig is!
Laat de voetenwarmer afkoelen voordat u hem opvouwt!
Plaats geen zware voorwerpen op de voetenwarmer!
De voetenwarmer mag niet gekreukt worden!
Bewaar de voetenwarmer altijd op een koele, droge plaats waar hij
beschermd is tegen andere warmtebronnen.
Waarschuwing
• Gebruik geen motwerende middelen zoals naftaleen, want die
beschadigen het isolatiemateriaal.
• Probeer geen zekering of thermische verbinding te repareren. Het
apparaat moet worden teruggestuurd naar de fabrikant of zijn
vertegenwoordiger als de koppeling is gescheurd.
• Controleer het apparaat regelmatig op tekenen van slijtage of schade.
Als er dergelijke tekenen zijn of als het apparaat verkeerd is gebruikt,
stuur het dan vóór verder gebruik terug naar de leverancier.
• Voorkom dat het apparaat kreukt.
• Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet deze vervangen worden door de
fabrikant, diens onderhoudsbedrijf, of personen met vergelijkbare
kwalificaties, om gevaar te voorkomen.
MILIEU
Het symbool van de doorgekruiste vuilniscontainer betekent dat dit
product niet met het gewone huisvuil mag worden weggegooid.
Elektronische en elektrische apparatuur die niet is opgenomen in het
selectieve afvalsorteringsproces is potentieel gevaarlijk voor het milieu en
de menselijke gezondheid vanwege de aanwezigheid van gevaarlijke
stoffen. Voer deze op verantwoorde wijze af bij een erkend
afvalverwerkings- of recyclingbedrijf.
