HARDWAREINSTALLATION

DRIVER INSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PCs, we can give you only a general installation

guide for the EX12280HMS. Please refer your computers reference manual whenever in -’

doubt.

1.--Install the EX12280HMS on a mounting rail by using the DINRail Kit or on the wall using

the Wall Mounting Brackets.

2.Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 cable with the USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Upstream CPort at the EX--

12280HMS.

4.-Connect a compatible plugin power supply to the DC socket on the hub or a compatible

DIN rail power supply to the terminal block. Then plug the power supply into a wall socket.

5.Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable (CPlug) to the USB CPort at --

your PC.

All Operating Systems

After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX12280HMS -

automatically and install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB-Controller“the following new entry:

If you see this or a similar information the hub is installed correctly.

Der robuste, industrietaugliche EX12280HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 MetallHub für bis zu --

zehn Endgeräte, der an der Wand oder auf einer Hutschiene montiert werden kann. Sämtliche

Anschlüsse sind auf der Oberseite angebracht und bieten dadurch eine hohe Flexibilität z.B.

zum Einbau in ein Gehäuse oder einen Schrank. Er wird über ein USBC Kabel mit dem Host--

PC verbunden und verfügt über vier USBC 3.2 Gen 2x1 Ports und sechs USBA 3.2 Gen 1 --

Ports für Endgeräte. Die USBC Ports bieten eine hervorragende Performance von bis zu 10 -

Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps), während die Datenübertragung an den USBA Ports bis zu -

5 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps) beträgt. Über eine externe Stromversorgung können bei

einer Maximalleistung von 64 Watt bis zu 2.4 A pro Port zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies

ermöglicht das problemlose Aufladen von iPhone, iPad, Smartphone und Tablet. Zur

Stromversorgung stehen eine DCBuchse (5.5 mm/2.1 mm) für ein Steckernetzteil und ein -

Terminal Block zum Anschluss eines DINRail Netzteils zur Verfügung.-
