CONNECTING THE WIRES

Have an assistant support the xture’s weight while completing the

wiring. Attach the xture’s wires to the power supply wires from the

junction box. Connect black to smooth/black/transparent (L) wire;

white to ribbed/white/transparent (N) wire; ground to ground (green or

copper). Twist the ends of the wire pairs together, and then twist on a

wire connector. Make sure all twists are in the same direction. If there is

no ground wire (green or copper) from the junction box, locate ground

screw on mounting strap (B) and wrap the xture’s ground wire around

the green ground screw. Use a screwdriver to secure ground screw

onto the mounting bracket/mounting strap. Tuck all wires neatly into

the junction box.

CLEANING TIPS

Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn o the light and wipe down

the xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture. Hand wash the glass with warm

waterand mild detergent. Dry with a lint-free or microber cloth.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Mounting screws (A) should be attached to mounting strap (B). Match

the threaded holes of mounting strap (B) to the spacing of the holes on

the junction box. Attach mounting strap (B) to the junction box using

mounting screws (D) and a screwdriver. Tighten securely. Mounting

screws (A) should protrude through the holes in mounting strap (B).

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

Push canopy (F) up to the ceiling and tightly thread decorative nuts (H) onto the exposed threads of mounting screws (A).

Secure spider (I) to shade (L) with screws (K) and decorative caps (J). Carefully slide spider (I) over socket (G) and secure the shade in place with

socket ring (M).

Twist light bulbs (N - not provided) into sockets (G) in accordance with the xture’s specications. Do not exceed the maximum wattage.

Your installation is now complete. Turn on the power and test the xture.
