CEILING PAN

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Assembly of this xture will be accomplished by rst preparing the min-pendants

for hanging, attaching the swivels to the ceiling pan, installing the mounting

hardware to the junction box, making all necessary electrical connections, and

then hanging the xture.

SAFETY WARNING: Read wiring and grounding instructions [FRIS 18]

and any additional directions. Turn power supply o during installation. If new

wiring is required, consult a qualied electrician or local authorities for code

requirements.

STEP 1

1 To prepare the mini-pendants (purchased separately) for hanging from the

accessory canopy, it will be necessary to remove the swivel (1) from the

canopy (2) supplied with the mini-pendant. This is done by removing hex

nut (4) and lock waser (3) - See Drawing 1.

2 Proceed to assemble mini-pendant according to instructions supplied with

xture. Do not attach the swivel (1) removed from canopy (2) to the end of

rods at this time. The swivel is needed to assemble the accessory canopy

STEP 2

1 Take pan (5) and place reinforcement plate (6) inside and line up the holes -

See Drawing 2.

2 Slip one of the swivel from the mini-pendant through one of the three holes

(a) spaced 120 degrees apart from center.

3 Slip lockwasher (3) onto swivel and then thread hex nut (4) onto swivel and

hand-tighten only at this time. Repeat process for the remaining two swivels.

4 Make sure center hole (b) of pan (5) and reinforcement plate (6) are aligned.

5 All hex nuts (4) can be tightened at this time.

6 Mini-pendants can now be assembled to the pan.

STEP 3Refer to Hanging Instruction Sheet [FRIS19-06]to hang xture. Then

refer back to this sheet to continue xture installation.
