Anwendung

Wenn Sie mit der Anwendung der gestochenen oder gebissenen Stelle zu lange warten und der Juckreiz und die
Schwellung bereits eingesetzt haben, kann die Anwendung nur eine begrenzte Wirkung haben. Vergewissern Sie sich

Insert / Remove batteries
Insertion: Before you can use your device, you must insert the enclosed batteries. To do this, open the battery com-
partment lid and insert the two 1.5V, AAA batteries. Pay attention to the polarity (as marked in the battery compart5-

Usage
The best results are obtained if you apply the product immediately after the insect sting or bite. If you wait too long to
apply to the stung or bitten area and the itching and swelling have already started, the application may have limited ef-
fect. Before application, make sure that no insect stinger has remained at the sting site. If necessary, carefully remove
the sting before application.
• Press the power button 3 to switch on the device. The device status LED 1 lights up green and indicates to you that
the device is ready to use.
• For a 3-second application, place the heating plate 4 of the device on the area that has been stung or bitten. Press
the activation button once. The device status LED lights up blue and indicates, that the application is starting. 2 1

2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within the warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the unit or for the replacement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g. non-observance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the consumer or during transport to the service centre.
d. Applied parts which are subject to normal wear and tear.

Bedoeld gebruik
Het apparaat is bedoeld voor het verlichten van jeuk en zwelling veroorzaakt door insectenbeten of -steken door het toedienen van
warmte (lokale hyperthermie).
Contra-indicaties – Het apparaat niet gebruiken:
• als u aan diabetes lijdt. De gevoeligheid voor pijn kan in bepaalde omstandigheden verminderd zijn en u kunt zich verbranden.
• bij mensen met een handicap, kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar of mensen met een verminderde gevoeligheid voor warmte. Dit geldt ook
voor mensen met huidaandoeningen als gevolg van ziekte of littekenweefsel in het toepassingsgebied, na inname van pijnstillers,
alcohol of drugs.
• op acuut of chronisch zieke, gewonde of geïrriteerde huid (bv. ontstoken huid, al dan niet pijnlijk, rode huid, uitslag (bv. allergieën),
brandwonden, vrieswonden, kneuzingen, zwellingen (zonder tekenen van een insectenbeet/steek), zowel open als genezende
wonden, en chirurgische littekens waarbij het genezingsproces zou kunnen worden beïnvloed).

• als u een zintuiglijke beperking heeft die het pijngevoel vermindert (bv. metabolische ziekte).

Algemene waarschuwingen
• -Personen die het product op zichzelf gebruiken moeten ouder zijn dan 12 jaar. Het product mag alleen worden gebruikt door kinde
ren jonger dan 12 jaar onder toezicht of met hulp van een volwassene.
• Raadpleeg vóór gebruik van het hulpmiddel uw arts als u een huidaandoening, een ernstige ziekte (in het bijzonder als u aanleg
heeft voor trombo-embolische aandoeningen of terugkerende kwaadaardige gezwellen) of onverklaarbare chronische pijn in een
lichaamsdeel heeft.
• Raadpleeg onmiddellijk een arts als de symptomen aanhouden of verergeren tijdens of na het gebruik van de verlichting tegen
insectenbeten en stop het gebruik ervan.
• Raadpleeg onmiddellijk een arts als het om een tekenbeet gaat. De beet kan leiden tot overdracht van ziekteverwekkers zoals
tekenencefalitis (TBE) of borreliose.
• -Raadpleeg onmiddellijk een arts als de eerste tekenen van toegenomen jeuk, roodheid van de huid, zwelling, duizeligheid, misse
lijkheid, kortademigheid, de vorming van pieken of een daling of stijging van de bloeddruk zich voordoen.
• Niet gebruiken in de buurt van de ogen, op de oogleden, de mond of op slijmvliezen.
• Bewaar het apparaat buiten het bereik van kinderen en huisdieren. Laat kinderen niet met het apparaat spelen.
• Houd het verpakkingsmateriaal uit de buurt van kinderen (verstikkingsgevaar).
• Let op de algemene hygiënische maatregelen bij het gebruik van de verlichting tegen insectenbeten.
• Het apparaat is geen vervanging voor medisch advies en behandeling. Raadpleeg altijd uw arts als u pijn ervaart of aan een ziekte lijdt.
• Als het apparaat niet goed werkt, of als u zich onwel voelt of pijn heeft, stop dan onmiddellijk met het gebruik ervan.
Algemene voorzorgsmaatregelen
• Raak het apparaat niet aan met natte handen. Laat geen water op het apparaat komen. Gebruik het apparaat alleen als het volledig
droog is.
• Gebruik geen reinigings- of oplosmiddelen om het apparaat te reinigen en te onderhouden. Als er vloeistof in het apparaat komt,
kan dit de elektronica of andere onderdelen van het apparaat beschadigen en leiden tot een storing.
• Het apparaat mag slechts door één persoon worden gebruikt; gebruik door meerdere personen wordt afgeraden.
• Bescherm het apparaat tegen direct zonlicht en bewaar het op een droge plaats.
• Bescherm het apparaat tegen schokken, vocht, stof, chemicaliën, sterke temperatuurschommelingen en nabije warmtebronnen
(ovens, kachels).
• Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in het apparaat komt. Mocht dit toch gebeuren, verwijder dan de batterijen en gebruik het apparaat
pas weer als het helemaal droog is.
• Als u het apparaat opbergt, mogen er geen zware voorwerpen op worden geplaatst.
• Controleer voor gebruik of er geen zichtbare schade is aan het apparaat en de accessoires. Gebruik het apparaat in geval van
twijfel niet en neem contact op met uw verkoper of de klantenservice.
• -Bewaar het apparaat op een tegen weersinvloeden beschermde plaats. Het apparaat moet worden opgeslagen onder de aange
geven omgevingsomstandigheden.

• Gevaar voor verstikking. Kinderen kunnen batterijen inslikken en erin stikken. Houd batterijen daarom buiten het bereik van kinderen.
• Explosiegevaar. Gooi geen batterijen in het vuur.
• Als een batterij heeft gelekt, doe dan beschermende handschoenen aan en maak het batterijvak schoon met een droge doek.
• Batterijen niet demonteren, openen of pletten.
• Let op de plus (+) en min (-) polariteit. Plaats de batterijen op de juiste manier.
• Bescherm batterijen tegen hitte.
• De batterijen niet opladen of kortsluiten.
• Verwijder de batterijen uit het batterijvak als het apparaat lange tijd niet wordt gebruikt..
• Gebruik alleen identieke of gelijkwaardige batterijen en vervang altijd alle batterijen tegelijkertijd.
• Gebruik geen oplaadbare batterijen.
Opmerking over elektromagnetische compatibiliteit
• Het apparaat is geschikt voor gebruik onder alle omstandigheden die in deze gebruiksaanwijzing worden genoemd, inclusief
huishoudelijke omgevingen. Het voldoet aan de eisen van norm IEC
60601
-1-2 voor elektromagnetische compatibiliteit (zie EMC-
hoofdstuk).
• -Het gebruik van het apparaat kan in aanwezigheid van elektromagnetische interferentie worden beperkt. Dit kan leiden tot proble
men zoals foutmeldingen of uitval van het apparaat.
• Vermijd het gebruik van het apparaat direct naast andere apparaten of het stapelen ervan op andere apparaten, aangezien dit kan
leiden tot een onjuiste werking. Als het toch nodig is het apparaat op de bovengenoemde manier te gebruiken, moeten zowel dit
apparaat als de andere apparaten in de gaten worden gehouden om ervoor te zorgen dat ze goed functioneren. Doet u dit niet, dan
kan dit de werking van het apparaat beïnvloeden.
Geleverde artikelen en verpakking
Controleer eerst of het apparaat compleet is en niet beschadigd is. Gebruik het bij twijfel niet en neem contact op met het service-
centrum. De volgende onderdelen zijn inbegrepen:

Gevaar voor verstikking!
Batterijen plaatsen / verwijderen
Plaatsing: Voordat u uw apparaat kunt gebruiken, moet u de bijgeleverde batterijen plaatsen. Open hiervoor het
deksel van het batterijvak en plaats de twee 1,5V, AAA batterijen. Let op de polariteit (zoals aangegeven in het 5
batterijvak). Sluit het batterijvak weer.
Verwijdering: Vervang de batterijen wanneer de apparaatstatus-LED , 3x knippert en er 3x een geluidssignaal 1
klinkt.
Gebruik
De beste resultaten worden verkregen als u het product onmiddellijk na de insectensteek of -beet aanbrengt. Als u
te lang wacht met aanbrengen op de gestoken of gebeten plek en de jeuk en zwelling al zijn begonnen, kan de toe-

achtergebleven. Verwijder indien nodig de angel voorzichtig voor het aanbrengen.
• Druk op de aan-/uitknop 3 om het apparaat in te schakelen. Er klinkt een geluid en het statuslampje 1 gaat groen
branden, zodat u kunt zien dat het apparaat klaar voor gebruik is.
• Voor een toepassing van 3 seconden plaatst u de verwarmingsplaat van het apparaat op de gestoken of gebeten 4
plek. Druk eenmaal op de activeringsknop . De status-LED van het apparaat licht blauw op en geeft aan dat de 2 1

als u het apparaat voor het eerst gaat gebruiken of als u het gebruikt op een gevoelige huid. Druk twee keer snel
achter elkaar op de activeringsknop om het apparaat gedurende 6 seconden te gebruiken met een temperatuur 2

begint. Deze inwerktijd wordt aanbevolen voor regelmatig gebruik op een normale huid.

en de status-LED van het apparaat brandt weer groen. Verwijder de verwarmingsplaat van de huid zodra het 1 4
geluidssignaal klinkt.
Opgelet: Afhankelijk van de gevoeligheid van de persoon die de warmte toepast en van de huid, kan de temperatuur
als onaangenaam worden ervaren en een lichte roodheid van de huid veroorzaken, in zeldzame gevallen ook huidirri-
tatie. Als de warmte te heet aanvoelt, onmiddellijk stoppen met de toepassing.
• Indien nodig kunt u de warmtefunctie van de insectenbeethulp na een pauze van 2 minuten opnieuw op de steek/
beet gebruiken of ook meteen op een andere steek/beet op een ander plek. Het maximum aantal van 5 toepassingen
per uur op hetzelfde behandelingsgebied mag niet worden overschreden.
• Als u het apparaat niet meer gebruikt, kunt u het uitschakelen door op de aan-/uitknop 3 te drukken. Het groene
statuslampje gaat uit.1
• Als het apparaat gedurende ca. 3 minuut niet wordt gebruikt, schakelt het ook automatisch uit.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld en de verwarmingsplaat is afgekoeld voordat u het opbergt.4
Reiniging en onderhoud
• Het apparaat is bedoeld voor meervoudig gebruik.
• Het wordt aanbevolen het apparaat vóór het eerste en elk volgend gebruik te reinigen..
• Voor elke reiniging moet het apparaat worden uitgeschakeld, afgekoeld en moeten de batterijen worden verwijderd..
• Gebruik alleen zachte, droge doeken voor het schoonmaken.
• Gebruik voor het schoonmaken nooit middelen die in contact kunnen komen met de huid of slijmvliezen, kunnen
worden ingeslikt, ingeademd of potentieel giftig zijn. Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen en houd het
apparaat nooit onder water. Reinig het apparaat niet mechanisch (bijv. met borstels e.d.), omdat dit onherstelbare
schade kan veroorzaken.
• Reinig het apparaat en de accessoires niet in de vaatwasser.!
• Wanneer u het apparaat op meerdere prik- of bijtplekken gebruikt, is het raadzaam de verwarmingsplaat telkens te 4
reinigen. Dit vermindert de kans op overdracht van ziektekiemen en bacteriën van de ene huidplek naar de andere.
Gebruik een in de handel verkrijgbaar desinfectiedoekje op alcoholbasis om de verwarmingsplaat te desinfecteren.4

ción de calor (hipertermia local).
Contraindicaciones - No utilice el aparato:
• Si padece de diabetes. La sensibilidad al dolor podría, en determinadas circunstancias, reducirse y podrían sufrir quemaduras.
• En personas con discapacidad, niños menores de 3 años o personas con reducida sensibilidad al calor. Esto incluye a las perso-
nas con alteraciones cutáneas debidas a enfermedad o tejido cicatrizado en la zona de aplicación, después de tomar medicación
analgésica, beber alcohol o tomar drogas.

Colocar pilas: Antes de poder utilizar su aparato, debe insertar las pilas incluidas. Para ello, abra la tapa del compar-
timento de las pilas e introduzca las dos pilas AAA de 1,5 V. Preste atención a la polaridad (marcada en el compar5-

puede ser percibida como desagradable y causar un ligero enrojecimiento de la piel, en raros casos también irritación
de la piel. Si el calor es excesivo, interrumpa inmediatamente la aplicación.
• En caso necesario, puede volver a utilizar la función de calor del alivio de picaduras de insectos sobre la picadura
después de una pausa de 2 minutos o utilizarlo también de forma inmediata sobre otra picadura en una zona dife-
rente. No debe superarse el número máximo de 5 aplicaciones por hora en la misma zona de tratamiento.
• Si p2-ya no necesita el aparato, apáguelo pulsando el botón de ENCENDIDO/APAGADO . El LED de estado verde 3

• Si no se utiliza durante aprox. 3 minutos, el aparato se desconecta automáticamente.

Limpieza y cuidado
• El dispositivo está pensado para un uso múltiple.

Inserimento / Rimozione delle Batterie
Inserimento: Prima ancora di poter utilizzare il prodotto è necessario inserire le batterie in dotazione. Per poter fare
ciò dovrete aprire il coperchio del vano batterie e inserire le due batteria AAA da 1.5V. Fate attenzione alla polarità 5
(come indicato nel vano batterie). Una volta fatto richiudete il vano batterie.
Rimozione: Sostituite le batterie quando il LED del dispositivo 1 lampeggia per 3Volte, verrà emesso un segnale
acustico per 3Volte.
Utilizzo
I migliori risultati si possono ottenere applicando il prodotto subito dopo il morso o la puntura d’insetto. In caso si aspet-

• Premere il tasto di accensione/spegnimento 3 per accendere il dispositivo. Un segnale acustico e l‘accensione del
LED di stato a luce verde indicano che il dispositivo è pronto all’uso.1
• Per un’applicazione di 3 secondi, posizionate la piastra riscaldante 4 sulla zona interessata. Premete una volta il

Attenzione! A seconda della sensibilità della persona che applica il calore o della zona della pelle, la temperatura po-
trebbe dare una sensazione sgradevole e causare un leggero arrossamento della pelle, in casi rari anche un’irritazione
cutanea. Se il calore dovesse essere troppo eccessivo interrompete immediatamente l’applicazione!
• In caso fosse necessario utilizzare la funzione di calore contro la puntura o il morso per la stessa zona è necessaria
una pausa di 2 minuti tra un’applicazione e l’altra, o immediato se si p2-ha un altro morso su un altra zona. Non dovete
superare le 5 applicazioni massime per ora sulla stessa area di trattamento.
• Se l‘apparecchio non è più necessario, spegnerlo premendo il pulsante ON/OFF 3. Il LED di stato a luce verde 1

• Se per ca. 3 minuti il dispositivo non viene utilizzato, si spegne automaticamente.
