lead to injuries or other damage.
Keep all the safety warnings and guidelines so as to be able to use them
in the future.
CAUTION! The detailed safety instructions concerning the
use of fitting foam can be found on the foam packaging.
Their strict observance is mandatory.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
1. N ever point the gun at people or animals.
2. O bserve general safety rules when performing fitting work. Always use
proper personal protection equipment. Always wear safety goggles. Wear
appropriate face and eye protection equipment.
3. Never leave an assembled system without supervision of a person who is
authorized to use it. Never allow children to be in the vicinity of an
assembled system. Keep the gun away from children.
4. Do not use the gun in closed premises. If this is impossible, assure good
ventilation.
5. The place where work is performed must be tidy and well lit. Disorder and
poor lighting may lead to accidents.
6. The gun must be used away from heat and fire sources as they may cause its
damage or deterioration of its service properties.
INTENDED USE
The gun is intended for applying one-component fitting foam in pressurized
containers. The gun is designed to apply polyurethane foam which is used in
various construction works, such as sealing, installation of windows and doors,
filling gaps in insulation layers, noise protection, sealing and insulation of
partition walls, and thermal insulation of walls and roofs.
CAUTION! The foam container is pressurized. Do not pierce
it, put it close to heat sources, or throw into fire.
USE
CAUTION! Before you start the work, you must read the
safety instructions on the fitting foam packaging.
1. Before you start the work, check the gun, in particular the condition of the
outlet nozzle and the valve in the foam container installation hub. It is
recommended to lubricate the container installation hub and the head with
the needle valve with Vaseline.
2. Let the foam container warm up to reach the ambient temperature.
3. Before you assemble the set and start the work, shake the foam container
vigorously (for about 15 seconds).
4. You must screw in the adjustment screw until you encounter resistance in
order to completely block the movements of the release lever.
5. Take off the foam container cover and screw the container into the gun hub.
CAUTION! When screwing the container in or out, you must
remove immediately any foam coming out with proper
agent.
6. Unblock the release lever by screwing the adjustment screw out.
7. Fill the gun with foam.
8. In order to achieve optimum working conditions, adjust the flow of the foam
with the adjustment screw.
9. After the container is emptied, it must be unscrewed from the hub, the gun
must be cleaned, and a new container must be attached.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! In order to maintain a good working condition of
the gun, one must observe the following instructions
concerning its maintena nce. Otherwise, the
manufacturer will bear no responsibility for any breakdowns of the
gun.
CAUTION! Do not allow the foam to dry up inside the gun.
Dry foam can only be removed mechanically. Leaving dry
fo am i nsi de the gun wi ll i rre ve rsi bly cl og
the gun.
1. The foam container hub, the nozzle, and the head must always be clean.
2. If work is to be stopped for more than 15 minutes, the nozzle of the gun must
be cleaned with a fitting foam removal agent.
3. After the work is completed, carefully disconnect the container from the
gun. If the container is empty, first release the remaining gas and then take
it off. If the container is not empty, act very carefully because A
PRESSURIZED CONTAINER MAY EXPLODE IF IT IS PIERCED.
4. Put the spray tip on the cleaning agent container and clean any remaining
fresh foam that can be found on the gun.
5. Remove the spray tip and twist the container into the gun hub. Repeat the
same actions on the foam container.
6. Fill the gun with a cleaning agent and leave it for about 10 minutes.
7. Afterwards, spray the cleaning agent until the gun is completely clean.
When the gun is clean, pure cleaning agent without any foam will come out
of the gun.
8. You must always use appropriate agents to clean the gun.
CAUTION! Do not clean the gun with water or any other
corrosive agents.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. The foam comes out when the gun is not in use:
Unscrew the container, remove the foam from the inside of the gun and
wash it with a cleaning agent. Gently remove dry foam from the needle
valve. Carefully unscrew the nozzle and clean it gently.
CAUTION! With time the nozzle will wear out, which leads
to uncontrolled foam leaks. If such leaks occur, the gun
must be replaced with a new one.
2. The can blocks on the gun valve:
Gently unscrew the foam container, as described in the «Maintenance»
section.
