Inbetriebsetzung
1 Isolierstreifen entfernen
Sobald der schwarze Isolierstreifen am Batteriekontakt
entfernt wird, ist das Gerät in Betrieb.
2 Gerät vom Sockel demontieren
Zuerst den Deckel öffnen und die Uhr demontieren gemäss
Bild A. Anschliessend vorgehen gemäss Bild B und C.
3 Sockel montieren und Verdrahtung
prüfen
Vorgehen gemäss Bild D. Die Anschlüsse sind im Kapitel
"Anschlussschaltplan" ersichtlich.

5 Konfiguration mittels DIP-Switch
5.1 Schaltzyklus
Self learning Adaptive Steuerung (Standard):
Für alle Anwendungen.
PID 12 Normale Regelstrecke:
Für Anwendungen an Orten mit
normalen Temperaturschwankungen.
PID 6 Schnelle Regelstrecke:
Für Anwendungen an Orten mit
grossen Temperaturschwankungen.
2-Pt Schwierige Regelstrecke:
Reiner Zweipunktregler mit 0,5 °C
Schaltdifferenz (±0,25 °C).
5.2 DIP-Switch Reset
Nach Verändern einer DIP-Switch-Position, muss durch
Drücken der Reset-Taste ein DIP-Switch-Reset
durchgeführt werden. Andernfalls ist noch die vorherige
Einstellung aktiv!
6 Gerät wieder auf Sockel montieren
Vorgehen gemäss Bild E und F. Anschliessend kann bei
geöffnetem Deckel die Uhr montiert werden.
7 Wechsel von Tages- auf
Wochenschaltuhr / Uhr ersetzen
Wenn von einer Tagesschaltuhr (AUZ3.1) auf eine
Wochenschaltuhr (AUZ3.7) gewechselt oder die Uhr
ersetzt werden soll, muss nur gemäss Bild A die
vorhandene Uhr herausgezogen und eine andere Uhr
eingesetzt werden. Hierzu muss zuerst der Deckel geöffnet
werden.
8 Funktionskontrolle
a) Frontdeckel aufklappen, Einstellwahlschieber auf
stellen.
b) Einstellknopf für Sollwerttemperatur in Plusrichtung auf
höchstmöglichen Wert (30 °C) drehen.
c) Das Relais und somit das Stellgerät müssen spätestens
nach 1 Minute schalten. Ist dies nicht der Fall:
· Stellgerät und Verdrahtung prüfen.
· Eventuell ist die Raumtemperatur höher als 30 °C.
d) Sollwerttemperatur wieder auf den ursprünglichen
Wert stellen (20 °C).
e) Einstellwahlschieber auf AUTO stellen.
9 Hinweise
· Sollten im Referenzraum Heizkörperthermostatventile
installiert sein, müssen diese vollständig geöffnet
werden.
· Die örtlichen Vorschriften für Elektroinstallationen sind
einzuhalten.
· Ab Werk sind alle DIP-Switch auf OFF (unten) gestellt.
· Berichtigte DIP-Switch Einstellungen müssen durch
einen DIP-Switch Reset aktiviert werden.
· Externe vorgeschaltete Leitungsschutzschalter mit max.
C 10 A in allen Fällen erforderlich.

Commissioning
1. Remove battery transit tab
As soon as the battery transit tab is removed, the unit
starts to operate.
2. Remove controller from its baseplate
First open the cover and remove the time switch as shown
on Fig. A. After closing the cover, proceed as shown on Fig.
B and C.
3. Mount baseplate and check wiring
Proceed as shown on Fig. D. For correct wiring, refer to
"Connection diagrams".

5. Configuration with DIP switches
5.1 Switching cycle
Self learning Adaptive control (standard):
For all normal situations.
PID 12 Normal controlled systems:
For situations with normal temperature
variations.
PID 6 Fast controlled systems:
For situations with great temperature
variations.
2-Pt Difficult controlled systems:
Proper on/off controller with a
switching differential of 0.5 °C
(±0.25 °C).
5.2 DIP switch reset
If one or several DIP switch positions are changed, a reset
must be made! Otherwise the previous settings are still
active!
6 Replacing the room temperature
controller
Proceed as shown on Fig. E and F. After that, the cover
can be opened and the time switch can be mounted.
7 Changing from 24-hour to weekly time
switch / Replacing time switch
If a change between a 24-hour time switch (AUZ3.1) and a
weekly time switch (AUZ3.7) is wanted or the time switch
has to be replaced, just proceed as shown in Fig. A. Before
that the cover must be opened.
8 Functional check
a) Open front cover. Move setting slider to .
b) Set the set value temperature to 30 °C by turning the
upper setting knob in plus direction.
c) The relay and thus the regulating unit must respond
after no more than 1 minute. If this is not the case:
· Check regulating unit and wiring
· Room temperature may be higher than 30 °C
d) Reset set value temperature to its previous level
(20 °C).
e) Move setting slider to AUTO .
9 Notes
· If the reference room is equipped with thermostatic
radiator valves, they must be set to their fully open
position.
· The local regulations and standards for electrical
installations must be observed.
· The factory setting of all DIP switches is OFF.
· Corrected DIP switch settings must be activated by
making a DIP switch reset.
· External preliminary protection with max. C 10 A circuit
breaker is required in all cases.
