Because there are large differences between PCs, we can give you only a general installation
guide for the EX 11236HMS. Please refer your computer s reference manual whenever in -’
doubt.
1. - -Install the EX 11236HMS on a DIN Rail, in a 19" rack or on the wall by using the supplied
mounting brackets.
2. Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable to one of the Upstream USB Ports at the EX- -11236HMS.
4. Now connect the power connector of the supplied power supply to the DC socket of the
hub or connect a compatible DIN Rail power supply to the terminal block. Then plug the -
mains plug of the power supply unit into a wall socket.
5. - Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable to the USB Port at your PC.
All Operating Systems
After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX 11236HMS -
automatically and install the drivers.
CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER
Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USB Controller-“ the following new entry:
If you see this or a similar information's the hub is installed correctly.

Der robuste und industrietaugliche EX 11236HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 1 Metall Hub für bis zu - -
sechzehn Endgeräte, der an der Wand, in einem 19" Rack oder auf einer Hutschiene montiert -
werden kann. Er kann mit zwei Host PCs verbunden werden, die über einen Kippschalter -
ausgewählt werden können und verfügt über sechzehn verschraubbare USB A 3.2 Gen 1 Ports -
für Endgeräte mit einer Performance von bis zu 5 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps). Über die
externe Stromversorgung können bei einer Maximalleistung von 120 Watt bis zu 2.4 A pro Port
zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht das problemlose Aufladen von iPhone, iPad,
Smartphone und Tablet. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über das mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil
oder ein optional erhältliches DIN Rail Netzteil (Self Power).- -
