DRIVER INSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PCs, we can give you only a general installation

guide for the EX11236HMS. Please refer your computers reference manual whenever in -’

doubt.

1.--Install the EX11236HMS on a DINRail, in a 19" rack or on the wall by using the supplied

mounting brackets.

2.Connect the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable to one of the Upstream USBPorts at the EX--11236HMS.

4.Now connect the power connector of the supplied power supply to the DC socket of the

hub or connect a compatible DINRail power supply to the terminal block. Then plug the -

mains plug of the power supply unit into a wall socket.

5.- Now connect the other end from the USB 3.2 Gen 1 cable to the USBPort at your PC.

All Operating Systems

After the hardware installation the Operating System will recognize the EX11236HMS -

automatically and install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USBController-“the following new entry:

Der robuste und industrietaugliche EX11236HMS ist ein USB 3.2 Gen 1 MetallHub für bis zu --

sechzehn Endgeräte, der an der Wand, in einem 19"Rack oder auf einer Hutschiene montiert -

werden kann. Er kann mit zwei HostPCs verbunden werden, die über einen Kippschalter -

ausgewählt werden können und verfügt über sechzehn verschraubbare USBA 3.2 Gen 1 Ports -

für Endgeräte mit einer Performance von bis zu 5 Gbit/s (SuperSpeed USB 5Gbps). Über die

externe Stromversorgung können bei einer Maximalleistung von 120 Watt bis zu 2.4 A pro Port

zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht das problemlose Aufladen von iPhone, iPad,

Smartphone und Tablet. Die Stromversorgung erfolgt über das mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil

oder ein optional erhältliches DINRail Netzteil (SelfPower).--
