Die EX1197HMS ist ein USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) HUB für bis zu 7 Endgeräte mit 15KV ESD Über--

spannungsSchutz. Der Hub ist mit fünf USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) ABuchsen sowie zwei USB 3.0/3.1--

(Gen1) CBuchsen für Endgeräte und eine USB 3.0/3.1(Gen1) B--Buchse für den Anschluss an

den PC ausgestattet. Die EX-1197HMS unterstützt alle USB Anschlüsse von 2.0, 3.0 & 3.1.

Über die externe Stromversorgung per Netzteil können an jedem Port 900mA zur Verfügung

HARDWAREINSTALLATION

Because there are large differences between PC’s, we can give you only a general installation

guide for the EX1197HMS. Please refer your computer’s reference manual whenever in doubt.-

1.Install the EX1197HMS to the wall or to a DinRail if required.--

2.Connect the USB cable to the USB BPort at the Hub.-

3.Connect the optional power supply to the Terminal Block to the Hub.

4.Now connect the other end from the USB cable (APlug) to the APort at your PC.--

After the hardware installation, the operating system will recognize the device automatically and

install the drivers.

CHECK INSTALLED DRIVER:

Open the >Device manager<. Now you should see at „USBController-“the following new entry:

If you see this or a similar information the device is installed correctly.

For cleaning please use only a dry fluff less cloth and remove the dirt with gently pressure. In

the area of the connectors please make sure that no fibres from the cloth remain in the connect-

ors. Attention! Never use a moist or wet cloth for cleaning!

By dual assignment of the pins, the USB TypeC plug can be plugged into the port on -

both sides.
