4.Attachthexture’swirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack(orsmooth);whitetowhite(or

ribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,thentwistonawireconnector.Makesureall

twistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmounting

strap(B)andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdrivertosecuregroundscrew(E)ontothe

mountingbracket.Tuckallwiresneatlyintothejunctionbox.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

5.Placebackplate(F)overmountingstrap(B)sothatmountingscrews(D)protrudethroughtheholesinbackplate(F).Securethe

backplatetothemountingstrapwithdecorativenuts(H).Twistuntilthebackplateofthextureissnugagainstthewall.

Installalightbulb(notprovided)inaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthemaximumrecommended

wattage.

7.Loosenthumbscrew(I).Tilttheglassshade(M)anddecorativecap(K)slightly,andglassshade(M)anddecorativecap(K)

overthelamp.Straightendecorativecap(K)andlid(J)ontopofglassshade(M)checkingthateverythingislevelandsecurethe

assemblybytighteningthumbscrew(I).

Removeallofthecontentsfromthecarton.Seetheimportantnotesabove.Shutoffthepoweratthecircuitbreakerandcompletely

removetheoldxturefromthewall,includingtheoldmountingstrap.

1.Mountingstrap(B)containsseveralpairsofthreadedholesandtwoofmountingscrews(D).Youmayneedtotightenhexnuts(C)

thatholdthescrewsinplace.

2.Placemountingstrap(B)uptoyourjunctionbox.Placebackplate(F)overthemountingstrapliningupmountingscrews(D)withthe

holesinbackplate(F).Thiswillallowyoutoensurethatyouarehangingthexturestraight.

3.Pullthehousewiresthroughthecenterofmountingstrap(B).Securemountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews

(A)andascrewdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.
