above.Shutoffthepoweratthecircuitbreakerandcompletelyremovetheold

xturefromtheceiling,includingtheoldmountingstrap.

Fromthepartsbagremovethemountingstrapassembly.Mountingstrap(B)

containsthreadedholes.Twoofmountingscrews(A)shouldbeattachedto

mountingstrap(B).Youmayneedtotightennuts(C)thatholdthesescrewsin

place.Placemountingstrap(B)overthejunctionboxsothatmountingscrews

(A)arevertical,andinalignmentwiththeholelocationsonthexture’scanopy

(F).Securemountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(D)anda

screwdriver.Tightenthescrewssecurely.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE

Rods(LandK)areonthexture’swires,butnotconnectedtothexture.By

measuring,determinethecorrectnumberofrodsneededforproperhanging

height.Thereare3optional12inchrods(K)and1ofa6inchrod(L)included.To

lengthenthexture,addadditionalrods.Ifadditionalrodsareneeded,contact

theplaceofpurchasetoorder.Toshortenthexture,trimthewirestothedesired

lengthaddingatleast8to10inchesofwiretothedesiredlength.Slideany

excessrodsoffthexture’swirestodiscard.Threadthewiresthroughtherods

andpullthewiresuntiltautbeforethreadingtherodstogether.Threadbottom

rod(LorK)ontopost(M)atthetopofthexture’sbody.Twistthetoprod(LorK)

ontothethreadsofswivelpost(I)ofcanopy(F).Locktherodinplacebytwisting

screw(G).Pullthexture’swiresthroughthetopofcanopy(F).

CONNECTING THE WIRES

Supporttheweightofthexturewhilecompletingthewiring.Attachthexture’s

wirestothepowersupplywiresfromthejunctionbox.Connectblacktoblack

(orsmooth);whitetowhite(orribbed);groundtoground(greenorcopper).Twist

theendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.Makesure

alltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnogroundwire(greenorcopper)

fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onmountingstrap(B)andwrap

thexture’sgroundwirearoundthegreengroundscrew(E).Useascrewdriver

tosecuregroundscrew(E)ontomountingstrap(B).Tuckallwiresneatlyintothe

junctionbox.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

Pushcanopy(F)uptotheceilingandtightlythreadnuts(H)ontotheexposed

threadsofmountingscrews(A).

Haveanassistantplacesocketring(R)insidesockettool(S).Carefullyslideglass

shade(O)oversocket(N)followedbyspacers(PandQ).Note:(P)isthewider,

outerspacer.Askyourassistanttosecuretheglassandspacersbytwisting

socketring(R)ontosocket(N)withsockettool(S).

Twistlightbulb(T-notprovided)intosocket(N)inaccordancewiththexture’s

specications.Donotexceedthemaximumwattage.

Yourinstallationisnowcomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
