Treat the xture gently! Regular cleaning will reduce the need for deep cleaning. For regular cleaning, turn off the light and wipe down the

xture with a clean lint-free cotton or microber cloth. Never spray cleaner directly onto the xture.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION

Remove all of the contents from the carton. See the important notes above. Remove the

oldxturefromtheceiling,includingtheoldmountingstrap.

1.Takethemountingstrapassemblyfromthepartsbag.Mountingstrap(B)contains

threadedholes.Twoofmountingscrews(A)shouldbeattachedtomountingstrap(B).

Youmayneedtotightennuts(C)thatholdthesescrewsinplace.

2.Placemountingstrap(B)overthejunctionboxsothatmountingscrews(A)are

vertical,andinalignmentwiththeholelocationsonthexture’scanopy(F).Secure

mountingstrap(B)tothejunctionboxwithmountingscrews(D)andascrewdriver.

Tightenthescrewssecurely.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE

3.Measuretodeterminethecorrectnumberofrodsneededforhanging.Rods(LandK)

areonthexture’swires.Bymeasuring,determinethecorrectnumberofrodsneeded

forproperhangingheight.Thereare3optional12inchrods(L)andone6inchrod(K)

included.Youmustuseatleastone12inchrodorone6inchrod.

4.Toshortenthexture,trimthewirestothedesiredlengthaddingatleast8to10

inchesofwiretothedesiredlength.Slideanyexcessrodsoffthexture’swiresto

discard.Tolengthenthexture,addadditionalrods.Ifadditionalrodsareneeded,

contact the place of purchase to order.

5.Threadthexture’swiresthroughtherodsandpullthewiresuntiltautbeforethreading

therodstogether.

6.Threadbottomrod(LorK)ontopost(M)atthetopofthexture’sbody.Twisttoprod

(L or K) into the threads of swivel post (G) of canopy (F).

7.Locktherodinplacebytwistingscrew(I).Pullthexture’swiresthroughtheswivel

and the top of canopy (F).

CONNECTING THE WIRES

8.Haveanassistantsupportthexture’sweightwhilecompletingthewiring.Cutaway

theexcesswires.Refertothewiringdiagramandattachthexture’swirestothepower

supplywiresfromthejunctionbox.ConnectHottoHot,NeutraltoNeutral,andGround

toGround.Twisttheendsofthewirepairstogether,andthentwistonawireconnector.

Makesurealltwistsareinthesamedirection.Ifthereisnohousegroundwirecoming

fromthejunctionbox,locategroundscrew(E)onthemountingbracket/mountingstrap

andwrapthexture’sgroundwirearoundthegroundscrew.Useascrewdrivertotighten

thetopofgroundscrew(E)ontothewiresandintothemountingbracket/mountingstrap.

Tuckthewiresintothejunctionbox.

FINISHING THE INSTALLATION

9.Pushcanopy(F)uptotheceilingandtightlythreadnuts(H)ontotheexposedthreads

mountingscrews(A).

10.Installalightbulbinaccordancewiththexture’sspecications.Donotexceedthe

maximumrecommendedwattage.

Yourinstallationiscomplete.Turnonthepowerandtestthexture.
